OMG! Pleae tell me you don't eat Skippy?!!!!

*sob*

To my ears that was a most unusual bird sound.

We eat Skippy Miladysa. In fact we are also eating emu and crocodile today as part of Australia Day Long Weekend Celebration ;) That sound file was in Wintertime, so I will try to do the same this season to mark a possible difference :)

Will catch up on all your blogs on Tuesday. Still peek at what we've been up to on my Photography Blog

Are there any brush turkeys left in this Great Southern Land? And if so when will the paparazzi capture them?

I have been stalking them Detlef, but they remain too clever, or more likely CHICKEN to be photographed. Perhaps they think we'll gobble them up ...

What?!!!

WHAT?!!!

Eat a kangaroo?

(Faints)

Uh, uh, wha...

What?!!!

Like Mildysa. I could never imagine a kangaroo without a baby joey in her pouch. I hope you only eat the males!

Sorry beautiful lapis-lazuli swamphens, I got distracted and "destructed"...

My God! Why don't you just chow down on some koala bears too, you monsters!

Looks like that swamphen should keep her eye out for crocs in those waters! LOL Alligators are tasty ... I had some in sausage once. Never had emu or kangaroo, but I hear emu is very good for you. Keep celebrating down there!

HAHA, we use the male kangaroo's balls to make pouches or purses for the Japanese tourists Ces ;)

We probably would eat koalas if they were overpopulating Australia Red Mojo, however they are sadly too small in number.

It does look like crocodile swampland Melissa! The crocs are further North, mostly in the state above, unless one is swept in a flood or escapes from the city's drains ... ;)

Of course the Japanese tourists. They are everywhere! They were even in the Badlands.

Where are the "Badlands" Ces? It’s okay, I looked it up, HERE:) I thought you had specific lands in mind which were bad …

My my what a nice swamp you have . . all the better to hide in. We should eat more kangaroo and fewer cows. Better for the environment. Crocodile tastes like chicken!

I agree about eating more kangaroos and less cows Baino - in fact we do! They are healthier to eat with less fat and Greenpeace says we DO save the environment by eating them ;) Crocodile tastes like a cross between a freshwater fish and chicken ... maybe a swamphen! Hhehheee
