The first bird heard in the sound file is a Purple Swamphen!

You'll see the birds better if you burn down the trees.

The trees are too wet to burn BoiledEggInADeckchair! I could throw you over where the birds are if that helps you seeing them :)

You could'nt throw a cuckoo if it had wings.

I was the only small person to win at Shot Putt - so you had better stop laughing and pulling wings off cuckoos!

You must have thrown a ping-pong ball in a hurricane.

You are being stuck in the mud Modroom!

A ping-pong ball! Hahaha!

I believe you Anon. I also played Shot Putt when I was in high school and stunned myself when I won the bronze in a regional meet. I weighed about seventy five or eighty pounds then. All my opponents (who looked like women on steroids) smiled when I entered the field, they thought I was just for entertainment. haha

What's with the second frame? There was no swamp hen in it. Just to throw us off?

I love these birds. They are lovely - lovely. They have the most beautiful colors.

Do people eat them?

Thank you Ces ! I too was entertainment and stunned myself (not with the shot putt ball). I thought those women were men!?! There IS a swamphen in the second frame, unless YOU ate it!

Never hears of shot putt.

Ces, there are people who will eat anything - just ask Anon.
