First I said, "Oh, wow!!" when I saw the ibis, what an amazing bird! I think I'd squeal and scare it away if I saw one in real life. Then I said, "Oh, wow!!" when I saw that you had given little ol' me a you-make-my-day award -- thank you, Anon! I must say that the feeling is mutual -- your blog makes my day, along with all the birdie buddies you post. :)

Glad you are glad Simon! :) The Australian White Ibis has a bare black head, black tips to flight feathers plus pink, scarlet, and yellow when breeding like what Baino describes below. They are often very grubby and there is NO white at all HAHA!!
The ones at the Botanical Gardens are just as dirty as the birds at the zoo Baino, but the Ibis I have spotted in wilder places are a lot cleaner and fish for food in the right places :) AWWWW, like you also say Baino, we spend too much time on the PC! HEEHEE
