It wouldn’t be ‘Australia Day’ if celebrations didn’t last for a long weekend of THREE days worth, and end when work begins Tuesday morning. I'll pop in to see you during the three days but *burp* celebrations have BEGUN!
Happy Australia day!! Have fun!
Next shots I want to see are of the white-face heron running out of the reeds and shoving the white ibis right into the water!!
Austrailia Day, I love it! we should celebrate that here! I'm going to! More two feets!
Delightful photographs Anon!
Happy Australia Day - Enjoy ;)
Now you know how I feel about the Ibis but photo 5 is stunning. Love the reflection of the reeds in the ripples. Yes, Happy Australia day everybody (or comiserations on invasion day depending on your point of view). It's 3.00 and I'm off for the ubiquitous Aussie Barbie!
Happy Australia Day!!!
These birds look ancient with their heads that look like they belong to another creature just like the duckbill platypus except these are still bird heads but they look antique.
HA! Made it back before midnight. HAPPY AUSTRALIA DAY EVERYONE! Thanks for your comments, I will try to expand on mine later tomorrow ... OI OI OI! Oh, go see what we did today at Photography Anonymous blog ...
Happy Happy Australia Day, these Ibis look like royal birds. The pool party looks never-ending!
Thanks Princess Pepper Cloud :) They are alsp know as 'Sacred Ibis' perhaps for the same reason. You couldn't be waterlogged already hehhehee only up to the knees. We have the whole Summer!
