Still Thinking

The flock I'm waiting for is obviously high wheeling in their usual V shaped or undulating lines.

You would think they would notice a SPACE in the line!

Perhaps they don't like how I look for crayfish and mussels on land instead of in the water ...

or how I pace back ...

and forth.

I need a little rest today after yesterday's You Make My Day Award excitement!
Thank you to MerlinPrincesse, Miladysa, Melissa and kind forgiving Ces for returning 'You Make My Day Awards'! NOT returning the awards but throwing them back my way. Oh blah. You helped make my day yesterday and I need a rest now. HAHA!! Ces, you may have one :)

Most importantly, I would like to give ALL 39 AWARDS I have for giving to my dearest and oldest (not THAT old because my twin) blog friend Perriette! Make My Day Perriette and carry them all over to your place };-} Thankyou.

I might go missing today ...

Are you OK Anon? You've got me worried... did they put something in the coffee?!

I love your photographs and have to ask is all this really going on in your back garden? Do you own half of Australia by any chance?

Anonymous said...

I know 39 awards is a bit excessive Miladysa, but Perriette is a very old friend ];-} OH, did I forget to mention that after the Spring Parade I was to venture beyond the confines of the backyard fence into the backyard of Sydney Australia? During Summer I flitter about but we are a very close community here and I still call it my "Backyard" :)

Ces Adorio said...

What! I had a lengthy dissertation about nothing and blogger deleted it. To summarize - no apologies necessary from you Anon. What will Perriette do with all 39 awards. You made everybody's day Anon.

Ces Adorio said...

Oh gees, I forgot to say something about that beak that looks like a cane!

Anonymous said...

Perriette will at least throw the 39 awards at me or at most never visit again Ces ];-} HAHHAAAA OH I hope Perriette is in a GOOD mood today!

The Ibis does look a lot like a Crane! However, the Ibis has a long sickle-shaped bill compared to the Crane's shorter straight one. The Crane is more known for its cane-like long legs and long neck :)

Lapin Poulain said...

Hheheheh! Hurray for Perriette!!! At least, she will not want to crunch you anymore...Hhehehehe... Or maybe not....mmmm.....};-}

Lapin Poulain said...

ps: I have a deer disguise on the pic on my blog, Anon.... Didn't you see it?... Put on your glasses, old lady!!!!

Anonymous said...

OOOH you meant CANE as in WHIPPING Ces!!!! *gulp*

I can't see her Lapin ... no I didn't see your disguise either. I need to sleep now, night night! *thump*

RED MOJO said...

I hope Humphrey (the Ibis) can catch up with his flock soon, he's looking a little distressed.
Good night Anon.

Melissa said...

What a gorgeous bird! What a bill, what a fabulous tail!

Anon, you deserve a nice break after all that award giving, hate mail dodging, and award giving over the weekend! LOL. :)

Melissa said...

And award getting, I meant there at the end ... more coffee please ... :)

kj said...

anon, please do not get too syrupy nice. i'm glad pierette got 39 awards but i expect ces to be mature and no whining ever! afterall, her shining star needs no polish...

(oh jeez--what am i saying?
and why?) :)

Catnapping said...

I think that bird needs help.

Miladysa said...

hmmm... I must have had one of my moments and missed it.

I understand what you mean, I consider the UK my back yard when I'm in one of my royal moods ;)

So... on a serious note... these birds, like the Duchess below and the Baron above, they are actual native pass 'em on your walk locals? Not in a nature reserve or anything?

Anonymous said...

Red Mojo, I hope the flock lands where Humphrey is, but for a SWIM and not a land walk! It is a better morning :)

Hhehheee, having a coffee now Melissa and extending my break any minute ;)

Hmmm, read between the lines KJ, it's impossible for this bird to be syrupy nice! *vomit* just the thought! Hhehhheee

NOOOOOOOOOO Catnapping! A big nose means character ;)

I AM a Royal Miladysa HAHHAAA. On a further serious note, Sydney has reserves, parks and recreational areas around almost every corner. The birds like Duchess and Baron (hahaha) are indeed passed on my walk around the block. However, I have also sought them deeper in National Park areas where they are 'wilder'.

Baino said...

Bah . .they're still smelly, pooey, rubbish-raiding bossy birds. I'll just keep clicking on the lorikeets!

Anonymous said...

HAHHAA, you keep watching the HAPPY Lorikeet movie Baino ... over and over and over ... :)

captain modroom9 said...

I can see how it paces back and forth, which I did'nt notice in the last pacing back and forth post.

It's like a strange tennis ball is'nt it.

It would need a big bag to carry all those awards, and you picked the right one with Perriette hee hee.

Anonymous said...

I don't think the Australian White Ibis bounces like a tennis ball, Modroom. HAHA!! Perriette bounces back though! Heehee

Miladysa said...

Thanks for explaining that Anon :)

BoiledEggIn aDeckchair said...

Where's it going?

BoiledEggIn aDeckchair said...

Did it go anywhere?

BoiledEggIn aDeckchair said...

Did it go home?

BoiledEggIn aDeckchair said...

Did it go to the shops?

Anonymous said...

Pleasure Miladysa :)

STOP interrupting my BREAK BoiledEggInADeckchair! Or I'll break YOU! Promise you'll see the Australian White Ibis go into the water if you aren't crunched first!

BoiledEggIn aDeckchair said...

It might have got on a bus.

BoiledEggIn aDeckchair said...

Or in a rocket.

*CRUNCH*!

Ces Adorio said...

That bird has the longest nose!

Anonymous said...

I KNOW Ces! Can't wait until Perriette shows up to show it off ]:-}

simon said...

thank you for my nomination..I have been quiet cause I don't feel the best. :o)

Anonymous said...

OH bluther!!! I wondered where you got the number 39 from. Thought maybe it was for the 39 warts on your face. Or the 39 eggs you laid. Or the 39 bunions on your feet. Or the 39 stitches from the gator pulling us apart. Or.....Hahhahaa......

Egghead, I want you to know....

Thanks Anony for...

KJ, you should be ashamed of...

Wabbit, you are so....

Ces! Stop laughing!

Anonybird, you are the...

The only thing I have to show off is my beautiful....

uhuhuh...I'm speechless.

Anonymous said...

Hope you feel better soon Simon and it was a pleasure :)

"THANKS ANONY FOR BEING MY BEST FRIEND!" Is what you were meant to say Perriette. I KNOW because teapot told me and so did the itch in those gater scars. Now carry those 39 awards OUT OF HERE and you will make my day complete ;) Ooops, beak in the way? Mwhahahhahaa

Anonymous said...

Maybe...maybe not...maybe something better. The Teapot knows NOTHING - my Teacup knows EVERYTHING! You can keep the awards, my dear, it is the thought that counts. HAHA!!

The Egg put my cleaver back in my hand. He is so kind. I had lost it, you know. Now I can slice and dice again. Egg salad, anyone?

Tara LaMar said...

WHERE'S MY FREAKING AWARD!!!!

Anonymous said...

Perriette, DON'T TELL ME YOU HAVE HAD A SEX CHANGE!?! You will still have tea parties with me and egg salad sandwiches? I have noticed you still carry a teacup :)*Sigh* I DON'T WANT THE AWARDS!

OH Ophelia Grim, haven't seen you for MONTHS! The awards are ALL YOURS!

Ces Adorio said...

It's not fair. All Perriette had to do was threaten you with a cleaver and she gets 39 awards? Why, I have many knives and one of them is an F.Dick Ham Slicer.

Anonymous said...

Ces, ALL 40 AWARDS ARE NOW YOURS! You will have to get 39 of them off Ophelia Grim but sure you'll have NO problem with that ... *hiding*

simon said...

Anon:- I went for a cruise in my monaro down to Artworkanon.....I found a video clip with Wuthering Heights and all this arty stuff.

I am going to say this:- (even if I do not see myself as an art expert...although I spend time in Paris art galleries blah blah blah)

THIS art is THE most incredible I have seen!

WHY is there not more on this blog? why has it been silent for a year?????
WHAT would inspire you to do more??
(oopps sorry birds... I know this is your blog but.. I gotta ask the questions of Anon!!)

PLLLEASSSEEE explain Anon!!!! (whispered):- "if you want!!" (smile) you have "head nicked me!"

Anonymous said...

*shhhhh Simon, I'm hiding!*

*sorry I nicked your head, I was just trying to steal the cleaver off Perriette whilst Ophelia Grim had taken over but bumped Ces's F.Dick Ham Slicer ... with your head*

*maybe your Monaro wasn't really cruising but full speed ahead which is like what it has been for me for about a year!*

*the only way there could be more at ArtworkAnon's is if I swing these knives and cleaver around LIKE THIS*

(oops sorry birds)

Miladysa said...

Anon - there is always refuge at RoYds - there will be a branch close to you - don't worry - you don't have to be dead :)

Anonymous said...

*last line of post rhymes with haemorrhoids* Shhhhhh ...

Anonymous said...

An F. dick ham slicer? That just sounds evil!

Anonymous said...

I'M BACK! RoYds was a perfect refuge!

Perriette, KJ even says Ces's "shining star needs no polish"!

Ces Adorio said...

Frieder Dick knives from Germany. My ham slicer is very nice, sharp and long and slightly bends to the shape of the bone.

Anonymous said...

*hiding again*

PS: I might have fine bones but they are VERY strong!

tsduff said...

WOW! WHAT A BIRD! WHAT A FUNNY BLACK HEAD! I thought it was a stork at first... you have the coolest birds around!

Anonymous said...

Thanks TsDuff :) That's Ces with the funny black head, reflecting dark things going on inside :O
