The first three photos ARE different shots! Water shots from the pool also ... ;)
That next to the last shot is a classic!
"Do you know who I am? I am important!"
I love the way he sticks his chest out ;]
HAHAHAA, he does look important and struts the backyard with the same manner, Miladysa :) All the shots had the dip and followed by a 'swallow' version but Blogger ate the other 'swallow' ones and I'd already deleted the originals ... blah.
Too quick with that delete button! tsk tsk. Congratulations on your awards! Thanks for the drinks, I mean shots.
Bad habit for need of computer speed not stolen by hundreds of images Red Mojo :) Awwww thanks ;) Hhehheee, drink up!
magpies are so COOL (especially under the shade of the tree in their swimming pool)
Ok, I'm setting up camp in your garden and I'm not coming back here until spring...nothing here but crunchy gray grass, ice broken trees and birdcicles! (I have a possum getting water from the birdbath, so that's kinda cool)
Your summer does look a bit like heaven to me right now. I really like your Ibis'es's's'...we have some, but they are tiny. Yours are more elegant.
Lilah! your alive!! whats been happening??? happy new year and all of that!
anon, i have an idea! how about you have a tea party in your back yard and we'll all come?! i will bring the entertainment and cookies. you can put a sign in front of your house that says "anonymous" so you won't have to worry about privacy issues....
:)
That must mean these Magpies are extra cool Simon :)
You are welcome to leave your possum to your birdbath LDahl and hang your feet here! It's that time in Summer when the hottest but no signs of fire so far ;)
KJ, what about our POOL PARTY!?! Where are your cookies? Hehheheee nice entertainment ;)
Glug, glug, glug, glug, glug. He was thirsty! What are you putting in that pool, Anon?! I think I might like some! :)
Look at all of the wonderful things you can do with thumbs! Hitchhike, open jars, open doors, swing from trees, pinch your friends!
I agree with Idahl, I may come a crash your bird party even if you did invite magpies. I'll bring the hard-nector, it looks so nice in your back yard, so sunny! Another Snow Day here... blah.
Hhehhee, sometimes we put a little Nectar or Ribina juice into the water Melissa ;)
Please don't crash into all the birds, they have a hard time removing ants from the flowers but hard-nectar is a welcome thought Princess Pepper Cloud :) Having thumbs is SO MUCH FUN! *PINCH*
i love your back yard. can i move in with you? i could be your indentured servant. i'm sure you need someone to keep your couch warm and your floors scuffy.
i'd bring you dead mice every morning and leave you the precious gift of cat hair. your keybord would never be the same...
You will have to be satisified by only gazing from afar Catnapping! We (Jack and I) scream, flap our wings, and chase any cat that enters within our fence line! Then we laugh. HAHAHHAHHAAA
hmmmm. i guess there's always the stealth mode....
Except we know you're arriving ... hehehhehe
yeah, but yer expecting a cat.
i've read that every year around this time a flock of boobybreasted dodos migrate to australia from the tropical dodo islands.
WOAH!!!! HAHAHHAHHHAAAA Look at you! No fear, you have gone the way of the dodo which means to become extinct or obsolete Hhehehhehheee. Don't think those wings would fly for even the distance of a fence .... ;)
ah. but i'm built for a pretty soft landing. bouncy bouncy
Stop flouncing about! You're making me look bad in my new swimming cossie!
it's not the flouncing that makes me look so gooood. it's all this extra cleavage.
I KNOW!!!! Don't you DARE rub it in!
Hhehhehheeee ...
i had a great comeback for that, but it sounded so gay.
where's OE when I need him?
I'm sure OE would enjoy rubbing a Boobybreasted Dodo as much as a Napping Cat :O You should keep your new look it suits you ;) That was a very nongay wink and compliment HAHAHHAA
he so sexy. i think he's got a girlfriend, though.
just as well, i've already got a crush on about 5 bloggers, most of them married (what is it with men these days? can't they stay single fer chrissake?).
I have no answer to your question but perhaps other birds are to blame!
SHEESH ... WHAT am I doing thinking this Dodo isn't a Cat ...
These birds must have huge bladders. They have been drinking forever.
Oh BTW, I love the garden furniture.
They DO drink almost all day in the Summer Ces! At least three daily stops to top up at their favourite watering hole. THANKS! This post was actually to show off the garden furniture :)
