Awww. I wish my lorikeets would come down to ground level instead of frolicking in the tree tops. They are heard but not seen! *boo hoo*
They're all getting a good spot to watch the fireworks! :) What a beauty ... I wish I could have a lorikeet at my bird bath ... although, the poor guy would be waaaay off course and more than a little lost. LOL!
I don't know where they are either. I am talking to the parrot in the pictures.
Now I'm not.
You should be scared Ces, I had TWO coffees! NO IT ISN'T GOOD!
Hmmmm, perhaps your other animals frighten the lorikeets a little Baino? When we have canine or feline visitors, the lorikeets keep their distance by staying in the canopies. I don't know about horses or rabbits.
The little guy would be FREEZING Melissa! They like tropical weather the most and you would have to plant lots of Australian natives into your garden :)
A BoiledEggInADeckchair talking to the parrot might just scare away the only one here!
