The two at the bottom somehow appeared to be doing ballet without actually moving to anywhere!

What beauties! I love black swans. I guess I can't have one, though. Nor the wallaby or wombat. Sigh. I sound like Charlotte, who wanted so badly to have a wild deer. She said, "Mommy, I'll keep him in the barn ... I know what they eat and I'll make sure he has a lot of room to walk around." She wouldn't budge on it, even when I said, "No, Charlotte for the last time, because if we had a wild deer in our barn Mommy would go to jail!" LOL!!

Hey we are watching a program on public tv about the Birds of OZ. They are talking about the Eclectic Parrot (male is green and female is red)

Black Swans are beautiful Ces :)

Our Black Swans look the same all around Australia Onedia. They are found almost everywhere here but for a very tiny part of the topend in the Northern Territory and very small area of the Northern and Western deserts :)

Sydney, Australia KJ! *sigh*

Hhhahaa Melissa, I can remember there are several things with the same answer which children don't understand :)

HAHA, that must be the 'Eclectus Parrot' Princess Pepper Cloud! They are found on the Cape York Peninsula which is the very top of Queensland Australia. That is a very tiny area and they are found in Indonesia and the Solomon Islands which are up that way:)

I'm with KG, where exactly? Centennial park? Great wetlands wherever they are and I LURRRVE swans. They're the lorikeets of the wetlands and get my vote!

I witnessed a mute swan looking left and then right and then left again, before it then crossed a road in Cumbria! Funniest thing to watch

Thanks Miladysa, pleased you love swans. I associate swans with ballet from when little ;)

These swans ARE from Centennial Park Baino! They are supposed to mostly live North but everytime I received word they were here, they'd already left. The swans are returning here in greater numbers from now on which is good news :)

Hhehhe, so swans aren't 'bird brained' Simon!

Those swans are beautiful. I know they would cause an amazing ruckus should anyone come near, (which would also be fun to watch heh heh) but I do enjoy seeing them looking so serene. *Mark Twain* once said "It is better to remain silent and seem a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt".

HAHA, I'll see what I can do about a future film of 'Swan Ruckus' TsDuff :) I agree, swans are most exquisite when serene. Very wise quote but you won't be reading many wise birds here on the Bird Blog! BWARK!!
