Is that a kalachochie or plumeria tree behind the bird bath? These birds just love the water. King Jack should start collecting waterpark or spa fees.
That's a Frangipani Ces :) Yesterday was a very popular day at the pool, filled almost all day! It did look like a spa :) Jack had at least half a dozen baths and showers himself!
Looks like fun to me! It's been raining so much here, getting wet intentionally is the furthest thing from my mind.
Looking at the bright side Red Mojo, at least you wouldn't freeze in the water at your place at the moment ;)
I know you are further away from the pool than it seems, but are you quite close?

I love questions if I know the answers ElizT :) I'm very close to the pool with these shots, about three meters away. Can't tell you what the rain makes the Lorikeets think but they become very excited when it rains! Too energised most times ;)
Hooray for the Splashing Rainbow Show!! These are so funny! I would never leave your window, Anon. :) Charlotte now recites her list of pets-to-someday-have as, "I want a lion, a horse, two dogs, a cat, a lorikeet, and a deer."

Oliver heard about your website, the Lori's and how Jack plays a big part in the whole affair. He felt bad, so he's guest hosting animal wednesday today.
Clearly lorikeets are like small children who drag you into the surf on freezing days, they have no nerve endings! I'm freezing just watching them splash.

HAHHAHAAAA, they ARE Baino! I do everything I can to make Jack warm and comfortable in his Castle during winter and then he keeps diving into the pool!?! They are all a lot like children :)
