(Stands clapping and resisting the urge to snuggle that wee bird!!!)

I can't believe I missed the two prior posts! It has been a busy weekend and there have been ostriches to watch out for ... hee hee. There's been no more word on the big bird ... hopefully he was returned to the farm he escaped from. :)

Hhehhee, don't ostriches belong in Africa Melissa? Busy weekend indeed! Busy having fun that is :)

how come i never see penguins in my travels? no ostriches, no penguins, no lorikeets. it's not fair, although i am happy for you, anon. these birds must keep you packed with extra joy most of the time....

:)

Heehee, I have to admit that any travelling I do is centered around what birds might be there KJ ;) Sadly there aren't many of the Little Penguins in Sydney and I stay away from them to help 'protect' them. This one is in rehabilitation :)

It's a beautiful blue color. Matches the green reflection in the water. Is it a lady penguin?

Anonymous said...

Hhehee, it's a Little Penguin Ces, but girls can dress in blue as often as boys ;)

Penguins are always cute, the last ones I saw were the ones nesting on next to the Manly ferry terminal.

They were very nice in a Satay... yuh, ok's not fer reals!

The Fairies at Manly Ferry Terminal are always in trouble because there are lots of tourists G3TFilms. This one came from that area! EWWWWW satay penguin would taste horrible; oil on a stick!

G3T Films said...

Not as horrible as giving a penguin the clap...

*stunned silence*

Yuh *barf*, ok's, thatz like totally going to far even for me. *barf*

ces is color coding little penguins? ha!

Anonymous said...

That was a silly thing for you to do G3TFilms :O Now we know who to blame for the Little Penguin being extremely itchy!!!

Hhehee, jealous of the matching blue with the green reflections KJ? Have you been waiting longer than the penguin for Ces to colour code you?

ElizT said...

What is that green stick thing?

Anonymous said...

Nothing to worry about, just a plant which got in the way ElizT :)

I see pool party tidal waves , marauders at the castle Bwark*!* and an old guard showing off his war wound from the gaol*!*

Anonymous said...

KJ, shuddering is good :) Your colours should be dictated by the seasons...

I can hear your echo Annie!!!!!!!...

Thankyou Debra Kay, scratching between the shoulder blades is also better by someone else :)

Hheheee, it's more difficult in winter Baino ;)

Tsup*!* Tsup*!* Bimbimbie! Thanks for flying by, you have been missed :) HAHAH, we are in the beginnings of the Extreme at our Pool Party!

You get to see penguins??? How cute! I'm envious!

Anonymous said...

Kathiesbirds, I see them only if looking :) Their colony is endangered in Sydney, so it's best to stay away from where they nest. They are CUTE!

RED MOJO said...

clap clap little penquin cutie!

Anonymous said...

Red Mojo, I feel like we're all acting like a harem of seals :)

Man alive, I'm standing at full attention! What amazing blue penguin is that? I am more familiar with the Jackasses of South Africa, ... wowowowowowo! I'm stunned and amazed - please tell me all about those beauties!!!

Anonymous said...

Hhhaaa TsDuff, it's a Little Penguin, or Fairy Penguin named by locals :) They are the smallest of all penguins and breed in burrows on Sydney's foreshore. They are our only Australian resident penguin!
