HAAHAAH! See you when I wake in my morning (hope I don't have cliff hanging nightmares)
Your just saying that! Willie never jumped. (Willie is a Sissie - I have you know!)
Cheers, Klaus
Little willie wagtail
Waddled on the cliff
Forgot to flap his wings
And ended up stiff.
(and then the bellmatrons went back in time and reminded him and all lived happily ever after).
I've been seeing so many photos of the ocean lately that I'm really getting excited for our trip to the beach in Aug! But for now we're enjoying parks and lime green sand ... more to come on my blog about that. I love these shots -- the little black bird against the green and blue!
is 'cliff' also his name? :O lol
Sorry Anony, I've had trouble loading your page at home. Love a willy wagtail they look like they're doing he twist!
Willie did jump Klaus! Otherwise I would have had a much closer photograph! I once met a Willie who attacked anyone close to his nest, so NO sissy ;)
Thankyou for your poetry Debra Kay! It kind of went demented at the end...
The scene is colourful with the lime and blue Melissa, but if you dare destroy your 'water' dreams - go see what's been on my photography blog. Heehee.
Laughingwolf, his name is Willie! *sigh*
Their tail wagging does embody more than just their tails! Willie is very high on the most popular bird list in Australia, Baino :) Get a new computer, no excuses!
What? And you didn't jump off the cliff after him to get the shot?
So disappointing!
It was already too late G3TFilms! When I looked up from taking the last shot, Willie was GONE :O
Striking and simple especially the last photo with it's composed shape and colour in a well weighted image!
HAHA, thankyou Captain Modroom9, you're being very technical today :)
the green and blue background is soft and beautiful....
:)
So unlike what the harsh light is usually like on the coast of Australia KJ! The thin overcast of cloud made for what I call the best lighting :)
Ein coot.
Das ist nicht eine Coot, Albrecht von Krappa! It's a Willie Wagtail :)
I am so glad you did not follow the bird off the cliff Anon!
So am I Ces!!! :)
You are so right about that layer of cloud Anonybird. Makes such a difference softening out those shadows.
PS. I still dont understand why you didn't jump of the cliff. You're a bird, you could have flown... you ARE a bird aren't you?
That was a day to haul out all oil paintings that needed to be photographed G3TFilms ;) PS: I understand perfectly! PECK!
You understand perfectly? That makes one of us :D
Ouch!
G3TFilms, I may not be a Ladybird but I'm no Bloke! Ive just been listening to Australia’s Top 10!
Whose oil paintings? Are we in for an another artistic treat from you? Are you going to resurrect Artwork Anonymous? Weeee!

Does anybody else hear an echo?
Heehee I heard an echo Ces, you must be doing the Extreme Caving! I was simply saying it's perfect lighting for photographing oils. Catch this! *flick* That was a double summersault performed by the crumbs off my lamb cutlet. No artistic treats from me so stop bobbing up and down!! Hee :)
Who doesn't like Aeroplane Jelly, Aeroplane for me... I like it for dinner, I like it for tea, a little each day is a good recipe...
That is my second FAVOURITE Australian song G3TFilms!! I like being a happy little vegemite but it didn't make it into the top ten...
i am bobbing up and down for no reason. and i can't be stopped...
You're a PARROT KJ :O
oh! :-(
Wasn't that artisitic trick good enough Ces :(
This one is a Willie Wagtail Onedia Hayes Sylvest :) Jack says, "HELLO HELLO HELLO"!
What a perfectly beautiful bird. Looks a bit like Black Phoebe - great photos!
He's THE favourite of many Australians, TsDuff :)
