A year ago Jack the Red-collared Lorikeet moved in with the Anony Family under foster care, then a week later was adopted and became part of the family!
This was Jack's first day here. An upside down bird is a good sign. A parrot who feels comfortable enough to assume this vulnerable stance is almost certainly a bird that is happy, healthy, and secure in his home.
Within the first month Jack worked hard at being a Guard Bird and won the admiration of many including a Girlfriend.
Not long after Jack moved into his own Castle where he became King of the Castle.
His debut in blogging began as Jack Pirakeet, and...
...soon began the first post of what became 'Seven Weird Things About Jack'. Within the series Jack launched his first Dance Podcast!
His popularity heightened when campaigning to win 'The Most Popular Bird' Poll and showed footage of taking a bath!
The bathing not only won Jack votes, but he also claimed Anon would bite his head off if he lost. Artists fled to support Jack winning the Poll. He even had his portrait drawn which later became part of a calender! He won of course.
Jack hosted a Spring Parade, made a few more films including Jack the Wizard and somehow maintained being an Angel and a Star right into the New Year.
The Anony Family would like to congratulate Jack for a highly successful year and squawk very loudly
