With tiny, tiny action film.

Tonight we switch the electricity off for an EARTH HOUR.

Ha haa! Those are some wet birds havin' fun! I love how they're looking into the camera, like celebrities checking the shrubbery for paparazzi. :)

Hooray for Earth Hour!

They are little celebrities Melissa! Hhehhheee. They put on an extra good show at barbecues. Good you're all for Earth Hour :)

Who won the staring competition in the top photo? That last jump into the water looked like a forward roll ha haa.

I always win the staring competitions Captain Modroom9, because the camera never leaves them. You can see how fast they are forward rolls or not! Heehe

HAHHAHAAA, these little fellows are the least scariest to us TsDuff, but the other birds are scared of them because they are REALLY annoying!

Bluffing is often the best way!

Wow! I hope they don't turn off the electricity at the hospitals and nuclear reactors :-)

That bird on the top photo looks like an old woman in a fairy tale movie.

...or the elctricity for the traffic lights especially in our city :-)

Really though, why just 1 hour? My husband and I were raised in families that did not like waste and extravagance and that includes electricity. Therefore, our children are very conscious of turning off appliances that do not need to be plugged in and lights in empty rooms.

HAHA generators could be used instead of killing people off or triggering a nuclear explosion Ces :) Click on the 'EARTH HOUR' link in my first comment and you'll see the similarities between our families. It's more about generating long-term behavioural changes for those who weren't brought up the same way ;)

Funny action film. They are not so noisy! The birdie falling into the pool at the end made me laugh a lot!

Hheheee MerlinPrincesse, the bird at the end did a forward roll like what Captain Modroom9 said! I have a noisy movie but haven't edited yet ... will post it with next Noisy Miner post ;)

That was fun. I could shut it off for an hour. I just hate resetting all the clocks. If they could coordinate it with turning the clocks back, that would make sense!

Tsup*!* Tsup*!* Don't you just love the way they shake themselves dry and then dive right back in. I'm sure I saw that first feathered number in the Paris or was it Milan? fashion show *!*

The top picture cracks me up! And NO, I'm not an egg! hee-hee!

It's difficult enough with clocks going back and forth and dates yearly changing for daylight savings Red Mojo! If every city practised Earth Hour at the same time that could theoretically be arranged ;) Perhaps you could just turn the computer off for an hour *shock horror*!?! Hhahhaaa

Tsup*!* Tsup*!* Their method of bathing daily amazes me Bimbimbie! In out and back and forth - half the fun is the aiming to land in the water with each dive :) Yes, there is always a shake and flutter before diving right back in again HEEHEE! They look like French pouf balls!

Joy Eliz ISN'T an egghead! Hhahhahhaa

Bless!

When the weather warms up we are going to have to get a large bird bath like this one :-D

I've been tempted to buy another large bath Miladysa, but don't really have anywhere to put it out of human traffic. But still want another! They are excellent entertainment for garden parties Hhehheee ;)
