Rowdy Rainbows

That's a company of rowdy Rainbow Lorikeets! Their colours are out of line and not in an orderly row at all!

It looks like an orderly meeting until viewed closely ... what's going on?

Haha you've opened a Japanese style bath house . . I hope they showered first! I don't know, what is going on?

splish splash, splish splash.
Much better than that pigeon who looked like he/she was going to drop dead at any minute.

Hhehheee, they probably did shower first with all that rain lately Baino! I don't know what's going on - you were supposed to know!

WHHHAAAAA Joy Eliz has a new avatar! Please don't empty the bath or I'll have to fill it up again. Leave Dora alone ... we can all look like that sometimes. Coffee?

These guys are having a great time! Wow, did you spike the pool?

Miladysa said...

"that pigeon"?! :-/

How delightful these Rainbows are and such socialable little fellows too!

Please don't let the Lorikeets get to the seed Simon, it's very unheathy for them, but guess there wouldn't be any left now!!

NO I didn't spike the pool Red Mojo! They don't appear overjoyed, especially that one in the middle of top photo. He's FURIOUS!

THAT explains it Miladysa! HAHHHAAA THAT pigeon ... Ummmm have you been 'socialabley' consuming something yourself?

I hope they don't pee in the water and then drink it.

Anonymous said...

Ces, that's something that has concerned you before... any specific reason? Hhehheee

Ces Adorio said...

I don't know why.

Ces Adorio said...

I want to know more about your natural lifestyle, the one you mentioned over at KJ's.

Anonymous said...

Oh. (surrrrre ...)

"Natural" hehehhheeeee. It was for survial reasons Ces! I was poor but rich with experiences and close to the earth :)

Ces Adorio said...

Hey I did that too! I was poor and we lived in a construction site (in college). Our boarding house was really pathetic. Four of us lived there: a PhD student, law student, medicine student and me studying post graduate nursing. We showered using dip and pour and the water was cold. Oh but who cares, I was thin and cute then.

I was thin and cute then too Ces. I am NOW! Hhehheeee. I see you are a similar person, we have had some similar experiences which would have played a part in that. I'm still a more down to Earth person than a lot around me in Sydney city because of wide range of experience. Unfortunately can't continue to grow all my own food in drought striken suburbs - but that might be changing. That's all, signed Anonymous!

Ces Adorio said...

Well, I like who you are and I also like your birds.

Anonymous said...

Thankyou Ces. I like who you are and also like your art :)

no worries re lorikeets..they visit but only to see what the fuss is about!

Anonymous said...

Oh, Parrots love fuss, watching fuss and fussing. They're all Galahs - not really but you know what I mean Simon ;) We had the most Galahs here around Christmas time eating the Christmas Bushes - to be posted later...

Anon, your splashing pool is THE happening place for the lorikeets! They're just having a blast! :) I love these lori shots!

*Wonders about Anon's naturalist lifestyle*

Debra Kay said...

More loris more more more.

Anonymous said...

Actually, I was asleep then KJ, you were watching apparitions! Heehee

It IS THE happening place Melissa! I tried filming them yesterday but will need to edit a few sessions together because they KNOW and become shy about their bathing (believe it or not).

There is no more to say apart from I am Anonymous Miladysa! Hhehheee

There will always be more Lorikeets Debra Kay ... maybe not in the same photo :)
