That's a very good dance floor.

They certainly are having a good time! I'd like to jump in there with them, but I'm afraid I'd displace all the water :(

Anonymous said...

They ARE moving way too fast for typical Aussies Baino ;)

EWWWWW, you're going all cutsey on me MerlinPrincesse!

The water makes it 'break' dancing Modroom ;)

I'm afraid you would displace all the water Red Mojo! Heehee.

I wish they were here :-D

Dear Anon

There have been two huge black crows taking a great interest in one of the large trees in my garden these past few days.

Usually, there is a nest of magpies in this tree which surprisingly enough have always rubbed along OK with the squirrels who also live there.

I have not seen much of the magpies since the crows have been around and I am beginning to wonder if the crows may be moving in!

Confused Miladysa in the UK

Perhaps the crows are eating baby squirrels or baby Magpies and they ARE moving in! Perhaps the number two means something to you and the Crows are More Confused as to why it's taking so long for you to get the message! There are two reasons to choose from which isn't confusing.

OMG

That had better NOT be eating any babies in the sanctuary of my garden!

Splish, splash, murble, gurgle, blub-blub, BWARK, BWARK, flap, flap, flap, SQUAWK!

Oh, I just love these lorikeet pool party montages! I laugh out loud and the kids come running to see what I'm giggling about. :)

kj said...

on my hardest day, i wish i could sit in front of your birdbath and let this pool party soften me right up.

:)

merlinprincesse said...

WOW!!!! Melissa talk lorikeet! But she forgot the Aussie accent!!!! :) They are NOT breakdancing! They are beakdancing! (I'm sooo funny) (again)

Caroline said...

Are these the bird that you are slowly transforming into?

Anonymous said...

They must only be carrying a message Miladysa ;) A couple of weekends ago I watched a congress of Ravens attack nests of a flight of Cormorants! To be blogged later ...

You sound like you can't climb out of the pool Melissa! HAHAHAA!!!!

Wait until the gardener has finished with the lawn on Saturday KJ :) OH that's tomorrow!

Hhehhehheee, onya MerlinPrincesse :)

Only yesterday I felt AnonyGhost and perhaps even Hellcat plucking out a feather Caroline! My skirt is GREEN (with envy) unlike the Rainbow Lorikeets' blue, yellow and orange. Not forgetting I have NO tail ... :)

tsduff said...

Maybe the squirrels ate the baby crows... you know they are carnivorous during whelping season...

That dank sounds like something from Dr. Suess, although quite pretty to look at :)

Anonymous said...

TsDuff, I know NOTHING about squirrels apart from others' blog posts and they ate my Mars Bars in Vienna!

OH NO ... that's Melissa making all the noise and splashing about :)

kj said...

i've heard and seen melissa making all the noise and splashing about. it's all you'd imagine, and then some.....

:)

Anonymous said...

I believe you KJ, we've had our fair share of experience from Melissa in the Lorikeet's pool only TODAY! Hhehheee

Caroline said...

Obviously a bit more transformation to go yet - they have blue faces too don't they.

Anonymous said...

Hhehheeee, I REFUSE to have a blue face Caroline!
