It’s time for AnonyBird’s Springtime, the ultimate celebration of birds in the backyard. Showcasing feathers in the morning, noon and night! A selection of Red Wattlebird Baby updates will also be on display, including a stunning nest built by Mr and Mrs.

Commencing tomorrow, the Morning Range showcase will begin and continue as a regular feature in the beginning of this season - until you vote for the ‘Most Impressive in the Mornings’ bird! Then in a similar fashion we will move onto the Midday Variety, soon to be followed by the Afternoon Delights.
King Jack will be our perhaps not kind Compare, therefore will NOT be allowed near the audience or their comments. We hope you will join us for the duration of the Spring Parade!

A couple of weeks ago I spotted Mrs Red Wattlebird building a nest in our backyard! This photograph was taken near nest completion. She was placing soft feathers on the inside and I guessed it would only be a day or two before the egg or eggs arrived. Generally she would lay one or two. SO I began pruning the trees around the nest for a clear photographic view. By late afternoon she was already settled into her new home. I had pruned the WHOLE garden and missed most of her nest building!
Oh Anon, Im green with envy - what fantastic - priviledged! - shots! Well done to you!
I like the idea of how we will be travelling here - clever cookie!
Hope you dont overdo at the party this weekend, so you can keep getting rid of the wog!
A whole lot of gardening went into those shots Lavender! Cookie didn't have the idea, I did! Heehee. I think I've rid the wog but the party will be full of them, half my family are wogs! HAHAHAAAA.
I'll begin visiting everyone's blogs tomorrow. It's too late now and might get into trouble by some, because not fitting everyone in!
Lucky Wattle Bird to make a nest in your paradise.
Clever Wattlebirds Modroom! They are very good at stealing your food when eating in the garden :)
HAHAHA half of your fam are wogs - tehehe I bet you dont get to make that comment often :)
I hope no ones beak is out of joint over a few missed visits! After all, we needed you to get better so you could get back to entertaining us! hehehe
(Goodness knows I havent caught up myself after loosing those days to fence building...must make friends with a fencing mob!)
Oooh! I am excited!!! These shots are magnificent. Are you and Lavender referring to a wog as I think what it is? Hmn Anon, not visiting because you can't fit everyone in and then getting in trouble is funny.
WEEEE Ces is excited!!! I'm not really 50% a Western Oriental Gentlelady but half European born in Australia. My Dad has a funny accent! Am I in trouble Ces WHA?
I was just wondering if there was another meaning of that word the way Lavender was using it I thought she was referring to your cold or flu? You are very interesting Anon and a gentlelady indeed.
Oh good! I'm back just in time to see the Wattles.
Oh, THAT wog Ces! The "wog" is the flu and a "bug" is a virus in Australia :) I am probably interesting because you can only understand half of what I say! HAHA.
I'm back just in time to show the Wattles Joy Eliz! That's Mrs Red Wattlebird, but both the parents built the nest :)
I don't remember seeing this bird before. He is quite striking.
What would you know about Australia? According to our brilliant leader you are Austrian...hahahhahhahahahahaa!!! He is such a humiliation....sheesh.
Mrs and Mr Wattlebird are very difficult to photograph Perriette. You did see one photo from the Old AnonyHouse before they followed us to the new house.
Hhehhehehhehee. Actually Mum and Dad had the same problem when living in San Francisco - their mail went to Austria instead of Australia :)
Even the Postal system....oy!
YES! Hahhahahaaa. We are but an insignificant island .... except when Bush wants something!
Give me a break. You are a huge continent with an inferiorty complex. England is a tiny island and look how BIG they think they are..hehehheeeeeee. Speaking of...where is Queenie dragging with her the Old Empire?
I wonder why we have an inferiority complex... We are BOTH BIG! We don't just 'think' it! I haven't seen Queenie for a while, she is overdue to visit her Convict Country.
It is superior breeding and superiority in everything that exists that makes my Queendom great, and types like you inferior.
So us Aussies have interbred with sheep or something Queenie? Like the New Zealanders? You are wrong! We are from YOUR stock! I think the Texans have bred with cattle hehehheheeee.
The Texans are another kettle orv lunatics altogether.
Especially Perriette.
Hhehehheeheee fishy cows, especially Perriette!
