Also known as the Diving Whistling-Duck they often repeatedly dive to a depth of 3m. Who whistles while they wander? Don't whistle while you dive!

Ducks that whistle? Amazing. I would love to hear that ;-D

I love watching ducks gliding along on the water, very soothing. They are a little like the valium of the birdie world!

[not that I know what valium is like mind - just saying...]

Making films with my camera uses up batteries which is why I don't often do it unless at home Miladysa :) We've never needed valium because watch ducks glide on water!

Is it okay to whistle while you drive, or should you only whistle while you work?

I'm sure it's more than okay to whistle anytime apart from shortly before and underwater Red Mojo! You love driving :)

Nice action shots Anony! Surely you can whistle while you dive, unless you're like me and can only whistle through your fingers!

i wish i were whistering and wandering instead of whining and wondering...

HAHHAHAAA, let me know if you drown from whistling whilst wading Debra Kay, the Wandering Whistling Duck is better at floating :)

It's a hot day today and would like to know whether you were able to whistle whilst diving Baino, you can pretend without using your fingers :) That's if your pool isn't too dangerous for your sinuses. Nearly drowning might wash them clear! I can't whistle at all ... NEVER have been able to!

Hmmmm, I might be able to 'whister' instead of whistle, how is that done KJ? "Wish" is the best W word!

tsup*!* tsup*!* I hope you have hidden all flight directions to Tassie for those glorious duckies ;)

Shhhhhhhh Simon! Rid your fleas and that funny noise will go away. ahahhahaaaa (oh no) ;)

Tsup*!* tsup*!* Bimbimbie! They avoid Tassie like a plague and wander about a lot more in Queensland, one should wander your way! They also like the Philippines, Indonesia, PNG and Pacific Island where it's hot!

I love these whistlers -- so gentle-looking. And I looked back again to see the blue-bill's tails -- awesome! Never seen anything like them!

Hheheee, I knew you'd love to take note of a Blue-bill's tail Melissa! They are geometrically perfect! :)

OH! I thought I needed to look up a thesaurus KJ, really! I should have tried but "whistering" sounds so delighful! You're no longer wondering but stop the whining! Please.
