While we're here, this is a Fiordland Penguin in rehabilitation. He sure looks relaxed! Common in New Zealand where they breed and the only visitor penguin to Sydney's coastal waters.

Awww . . raw nerve twitching here . . I am a bit of a penguin fanatic! The 'kids' bought this 'kid' Happy Feet for Mother's Day! Love the yellow stripes and the clarity of the photos. They're so comical . . don't do a poll on this one, can't choose between the pingus and the Loris

I've heard that cute as they "appear" to be, penguins in the zoo, if you dare approach them without a handful of sardines will reprimand you, peck you and do all they can to trip you up and shove you in the bloody water!

What would you being doing in a zoo penguin's cage Gledwood? Heehee. We have daylight savings but all I can tell you is it's 8.00am in Sydney AND Melbourne now, otherwise I'll befuddle my head! It's different in Queensland ... sometimes. Clock at the top of my sidebar ... :)
