Yonder

A Noisy Minor greeted Mini, not sure what happened but it was a short friendly visit - like a peck on the cheek, then away. Next flying into our 'Lorikeet Tree', I was nicely surprised Mr and Baby Magpie left her alone! After five minutes of further bark and leaf inspection, Mini flew into the Frangipani in the photograph above. It was for seconds because Mrs Red Wattlebird immediately swooped and told her to leave! It was no longer my territory either, so there was nothing I could do.

Mini flew left three doors down, into the tree in the photograph above. There was a sudden protest from a whole family of Wattles! This is when Mini Minor went yonder to the Northfolk Tree and beyond.

If you drew a straight line from here past the Norfolk, that was the direction where Mini began! Farewell Mini!

Next post full of clues to identify 'What sort of Bird is Mini'! It will take a while to get together ... :)

Wow it must be a feast of senses for her as she makes her way into the new world beyond your care. I like the way you've managed to track her initial exploration from the 'nest.'

oh dear, you forgot to teather her. She's gone too far. I can't bear it! Good thing I'm not a Mom!

Argh! I cannot cope!! Bye bye Mini!

BTW I sent you an email with what I think Mini might be ;o)

Modroom, I accidently left my camera filming just after Mini went yonder! No point in posting though because it's just spinning footage looking up trees, across here and there. Even though I knew she had flown there was still a chance she might have quickly returned ... *sigh* I was talking to Jack too which is embarrassing! HAHA

HAHAHAA, once the weather clears I will go see where Mini went! Have a pretty good idea Red Mojo :)

We will see her again Simon, we just won't be able to tell which one she is out of her extended family :) Thanks for the email!

Lavender, for some strange reason I always associate 'Bon Voyage' with boats! You never know, we are close to the ocean HAHA :)

Mini is still a fair way off being a teen MerlinPrincesse. However, Jack the Red-Collared Lorikeet wouldn't have been obliging! Heehee

Mini will be fine Mary Stebbins Taitt :) She did already know about Wattlebirds because they follow me into my garden every time I go there ...

What, what Miladysa? HAHA Mini finally flew in the exact direction to where she was born ... or at least the carpark where she was found. I'm going to eat some chocolate now too :)
