Puffin's Partner

King Jack Puffin has a husband now and you can see how much he loves her! He is a healthy looking Rainbow Lorikeet but I don't like how he has to prove that in front of my castle! He might be jealous, especially of my red collar - but I don't understand what he's doing!! ... Jack

Forget about sleeping in on your birthday. The sleeping-in should be after the celebration. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TP YOU. It is your birthday here now. I will celebrate.

I can see the difference in the plummage between a healthy bird and puffin. I hope she gets better.

I mean HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU. I would never dare TP you.

*one eye slightly open* Hhehhee lucky for thee you corrected your TP Ces! Don't eat all my cake before I wake up again! It's okay Ces ... the local vet knows what to do now (after my last attempt saving a bird with Puffin's ailment).

Aww, sweethearts! I love the last photo -- a hubby lovingly looking on as his wife fixes her "do" for the day. :) Happy sleeping, celebrating, and cake eating!

I love the third also. It looks to me like he's concerned about her.
Do I wish you happy birthday again today? With you in a different side of the world, I have no idea when your birthday is, was, will be.
Just to be safe: Happy Birthday you scary thing!

Jack is far too innocent!

The song died on me. The Psycho Killer must have done her in mid-song!

OH HAHA love your enthusiasm Simon ... are you a Twitcher, Warbler or a Birder heehee. Recent birds on this blog are from the back yard but I do the odd close-by excursion. We are up to the Midday Variety, so following Afternoon Delights I'll be looking beyond my 'common' backyard birds :)) Can't wait actually ...

PS: I had to delete my Halloween contribution of Kate Miller-Heidke's 'Psycho Killer' song because kept timing out. *sigh* It was BRILLIANT!
