birds that bathe together probably watched sparticus...

Catnapping, you should have seen the pool area yesterday! Each variety took their turn and bathed Japanese style - whole families! I didn't know Sparticus could influence such behaviour ...

I've watched my baby jays bathe and play until they are so waterlogged and soaked that they can't even fly, having to hop up the branches where they sit and preen while they dry out. Funny. Lorakeets are stunning with all their colors... I can just imagine them.

HAHA, I have a couple of water logged Lorikeets sheltering from the storm on the window sill right now TsDuff :) Could watch birds in their pool all day if it's that busy! Baby Jays would have their own flashes of colour to reflect about the place :)

OH thank you KJ :) I'll take more pool photographs now. I could post a pool party week for when it's really Summertime!

Pleased to turn your frown upside down Red Mojo! :)

Oh Anon, pool shots during the depth of summer would be most refreshing - they do look like they are having a good time there - must admitt I covet your bird bath :)

They are making a lot of splash. Maybe you should add some mud in the bath so they can have a mud bath? Do birds like mud baths? Hahah!

LDahl said...

Wow, your pictures are super today!

NO Perriette! The Rainbow Lorikeets are Jack's favourites, he even adopted a baby as his own. He wouldn't have any friends otherwise ...

The idea of all the splashing is to clean Ces. HAHHAAAA I don't think they would like a mud bath :)

Thanks LDahl!
