The last Sunday before whilst in the car at a car park, I noticed something small, brown and in a precarious space. Unable to see from such a distance, I took photographs using my zoom.
No hope in getting up there!
It might cross this road ...
Whaah!!! Action shot during the driving past of one out of two cars. They almost squashed the small brown thing.
Dead end. Cornered by a drain, concrete wall and cars. It was at this point I left the car to discover what the small brown thing was.

So, the small brown thing wasn't a rat!
Were you able to rescue it?
That first one, several of these, would make a cool painting. It's a cool photo!
I love LOVE the colors and textures and detail on that first one. :-D
ooooh the poor little thing. I know you took it in, because I think we a alike in that regard, and I know I would've. I can't wait to hear more and see more photos. There are more...right?
these shots are precious. in fact, anon, they made my day.
You are welcome to save and paint the first one Mary Stebbins Taitt!
Ooooooh, I really did think it was like a rat at first, Red Mojo! It was very small, smaller than a rat and a brown thing. HAHA. There is more ...

I think its an Indian miner??????
And i wrote this before I read anything else ( honest!!!) :o)

I took some photos of a little brown thing once, but it did'nt have legs or a face. You can see them if you like.
It was a turd.
I suppose that was in one of your yearly baths Mr Totties! Luckily your turd didn't nest anywhere ... or did it? That's a rhetorical question!
It floated and I put a little sail on it so it could sail around.
I wouldn't try that with my birds, Mr Totties!
These pictues, so small and lost, just so glad you found her
She would have been squashed by cars for sure Hardwax!
I'm so relieved you found her in time. Whew....
Quite amazed no one else saw her Perriette! She was in a carpark to a two story pet shop - one for birds! I first sat in the car for about fifteen minutes and many walked past as well as the cars ... :(
that poor baby. she must have been so scared in that parking lot.
i'm glad there were angels to save her.
Catnapping, she was especially afraid when the cars zoomed past and she didn't mean to play 'chicken' with them :( From a moment after last photo she was wrapped in a dark towel, so oblivious to everything until saw great worms falling from the sky but no wings attached :)
