I like the one with the fanned out tail.

Very good looking family. Still loving the tree.

HA thanks Lavender :) I don't want them to work for jam or I'll never have peace when eating scones in the garden again!

You are easy to please MerlinPrincesse! Thanks, I needed someone to volunteer to scrub the shower :)

I like that one too ElizT :) It was a lucky shot because tail fanned for seconds only.

Thanks Ces, I was out photographing flora and fauna for you today!

They are really cute! I knew those babies were fine. :)

Nope. I'd drown myself first MerlinPrincesse ... under the dirty shower!

Red Wattlebirds are survivors Red Mojo :) In fact, recent reading has suggested there are too many surviving ...

Thank you Anon. Everytime I draw a tree with a bird on one of the branches, I think of you and Lavender. Sometimes I go to your blog to check out the trees. My favorite trees so far are the paper tree, the naked plumeria and the bottlebrush tree. I also remember you when I pass by the undeveloped land where lantanas grow wild and remember how they have invaded Australia.

Is that the baby in the second photo? Excellent framing.

Yes that's one of the two babies Perriette. Branches make good frames sometimes!
