I swear, Jack. I'm convinced the birds see you coming and squabble over posing space. Nice find. Hope the day was as cool as the nice wet street suggests. Oh Yeah! Southern hemisphere. It's your winter. Dry as a bone here and the fires are loving it.

How tame. Do they mess up the tables? I like the clean surroundings.

too old to be a squab, so inedible ;) lol

Wine! Had to check up on that! And some Eagle along with it! But actually can I have a beer with that?
Good one - close one! Cheers, Klaus

Annie, I'm Anonybird, NOT Jack! Hheheee. Jack hasn't mastered his wing feathers to hold the camera yet ;) The day was very cool and very wet!

Ces, the pigeons there had me puzzled. I think they were toilet trained!!! This place is The Rocks in the City :)

The Pigeon ISN'T for lunch LaughingWolf :O

Hah, the Red Chequer colouring could be similar to some type of Eagle Klaus! How much of that wine have you drunk? At $18 a bottle, I think maybe a case, or are you a cheap drunk? You have to buy Dan Dan Noodles to have a bottle of Heineken by the looks of it. Hhheee

Tsup Miladysa!!! The sun has just risen, so lots of time left for greatness :)

This pigeon ignored the waiters and casually watched passers by, Baino. I thought he was waiting for the puddles to be large enough to go swimming. Must have been sick of the Chinese Food ;)

Thanks ElizT :)

not fond of foul fowl on my plate, anyway, birdy ;)lol

I've never heard of eating meat of young domestic pigeons before! This fellow has feathers anyway, LaughingWolf. He isn't a "foul fowl" but a distinguished, toilet trained, Red Chequer!

What sort of table conversation is this? *sigh*

This pigeon IS the waiter...

Anonymous said...

He was IGNORING us then, MerlinPrincesse!

They probably know that the proprietor will shoo them away if they mess up the place. Smart birds.

Are you sure he was not a messengeror perhaps a secret agent disguised as a pigeon?

Lavender said...

...well, he is someones lunch - luckily for me, not mine! Teeheehee

Anyhow, cool shots - very artsy Anon! :)

Melissa said...

I hear that duck is good with wine -- LOL! This pigeon looks like he's determined to get something tasty and won't leave until he does! I love the noises they make. :)

Ces Adorio said...

He looks like a chicken.

Anonymous said...

Oh no! If he is working as an undercover agent, I'm busted for pocketing a tube of sugar Ces!

Thanks Lavender, artsy I be :) WHO'S LUNCH!?! :O

Duck is often cooked with red wine Melissa. Perhaps Red Chequers associate by colour? Their coos are soothing :)

Pigeon, duck or chicken Ces, this bird is NOT for eating!

laughingwolf said...

hey, i've never even tried squab! :O lol

It will be if it flies up north a little further, maybe towards the equator.

Birdies watch and get your beaks ready... LaughingWolf is about to pounce from the table after a pigeon!

That's why it lives in Australia Ces!

HELLO KJ!!!!! I wish you were really here because if you were I would say HELLO and thankyou :) This isn't as creepy as I imagined ...;)

laughingwolf said...

hey, can i help it if i like 'birds'?

Anonymous said...

Maybe I should do a Hitchcock post sometime...

Bimbimbie said...

That's what I'd call an attentive waiter tsup *!*

Anonymous said...

Tsup*!* Tsup*!* Bimbimbie! That Waiter was ignoring us!

Hey Anonybird - My BAD. Jack needs to spread his wings - er, talents.

Anonymous said...

You're forgiven Annie :) Jack daily spreads his talents! We weekly have to buy at least one new tissue box to clean up afterwards! Hhehee!

Caroline said...

Pigeon: Ah a cheeky wine, with the hint of corn and wet pavements.

Anonymous said...

Heehee, I don't feel like eating dinner now Caroline!

laughingwolf said...

ah yes, good ol hitchcock... really enjoyed his flicks, and later, tv shows :)

Anonymous said...

I was thinking of using his birds on you LaughingWolf! Hhehhee *tweet*

Ces Adorio said...

What is KJ doing here. She did not even visit my blog yet. Hmph!

Anonymous said...

KJ was pretending to be ME on your blog Ces! The mysterious 'anonymous', but you know that ;)

Ces Adorio said...

She can't even pretend :-) Actually, at first I did not know. I had to check my SiteMeter.

Anonymous said...

That should upset KJ enough to say something now Ces ;)

kj said...

can you imagine having to check one's sitemeter to recognize one's dearest friend? sigh--oh what i must endure, all for the sake of love....not to mention this statement that right is left is right and left is wrong, is that right? and if it's wrong, am i right? or...oh, that's enough.
hello anon and ces. thank you for missing me.

:)

Hhehheee Ces IT WORKED! Hello KJ, we did miss you saying as much as you've said here :) What did you say?
