Me the funny looking duck? HAH! In the last photo, the Pacific Black's middle is floating away!
Did you fall into water, Anon? Mwhahahahahha! Mademoiselle is there, laughing with me....
Falling is a large part of bird photography, MerlinPrincesse! STOP laughing and SCAT CAT. The fish and ducks aren't for eating!!! Especially this one... hehheee ;)
Well, I would certainly not eat the bird or the fishes, but Mademoiselle is drooling (again) on my keyboard.... In fact, that pic is a mystery..... Do you have a new camera or just the old S2 IS?
Do you have a new underwater camera? Did you give your son a camera for a birthday present and told him it's for you? Hehheh! Or did you put the duck inside the aquarium and you took the picture with the camera close to the glass? Did you have coffee yet?
I don't know how you got those shots! That water must be incredibly clear, or that is a really big fish tank. That second shot is my favorite, but the one with fish in it is great too, hell, they're all amazing!
Please feed Mademoiselle, Merlinprincesse! I still have my old S3 IS. Although tempted to upgrade because everyone else is at the moment but it's only lust ... ;)
HAHHAHHAA!!!! I WAS thinking of giving my camera to son for his birthday and upgrading my own, Ces. However his very specific birthday gift wish cost MORE!!! I haven't had my coffee today yet! It's MONDAY!!! WHAAA!!!!
Hhehhee, thanks Red Mojo! Very nice to see you again!! Okay, I WAS being a little extreme as well as the Pacific Black Duck ;)
Amazing.
I try ElizT ;) Hhehheee!!! This IS Extreme Sports time :)
Babe, you still have not told us how you took these photographs.
Hmmmm, I won't tell anyone who calls me Petal, Doll or Babe, Ces! Hhahhaaa, there are a couple more similar posts in the near future and don't want to spoil those for Twits ;)
This is a mystery...... I forgot you were one S over me... I only have the S2.... I've seen they now make the S SIX!!!!! AAAAAAAHHHH!!!!
We're not so behind MerlinPrincesse. PowerShot S5IS is the successor to the S3IS model, and there is no six yet! Only people putting it on their wish lists ;)
Anon, I have been wishing for a Canon Rebel XSI. Is that a good camera? I have Canon SLR cameras but they are not digital, I think the XSI is digital and I like what I saw on the commercial.
Ces, I thought you just bought your Canon PowerShot SD900? Yes, the EOS Rebel XSi is a very good SLR Digital camera and one high up on my wish list ;) Dad bought the latest best camera the other day. He said the lens alone cost two thousand dollars. I was so jealous I didn't listen properly and took photographs instead. *sigh*
Tsup*!* you have got eel cam ... no wonder that duck was taking a closer look the other day.
Where's David Attenborough I'll have to tell him lol
PS has someone left their freezer door open down there? It's feet numbingly cold up here, all other bits have dropped off in sympathy ;)
Tsup*!* Tsup*!* Bimbimbie! That's right, it's EELCAM! HAHA :) It hailed here yesterday and has been snowing in other places in SYDNEY! I can't find the matches to light the fireplace!!! Maybe my fingers have dropped off anyway, I'm keyboarding with my elbows ;)
Tsup*!* I saw the pretty white sights on the news .... I think winter is going to be all bundled up in August this year for us. Bare toes ... watch out for those eels coming out of the screen, they'll make you scream hehehe *!*
Tsup*!* I'm glad you know I'm not the eel because have elbows! August winds are here today!!! I must find those matches, it's DARK here already!
No my SD900 is two years old. I bought it when it first came out. I know those cameras can get very pricey. There is a 21.1 MP for only $8,000. Haha! What does it take? Gold images with diamonds? Who uses those? The people in museums and those who want to photograph the ant's leg? Ha!
Hhehheee, it's best to buy the camera which is suited to you Ces and what you want to use your images for ;) Did you hear it's SNOWING in Sydney!?! I only said the day before it started that I didn't expect to see Sydney snow again in this lifetime. Technically I haven't seen it yet...
Tsup*!* I've just taken meat out to the gang, lots of puffed out feathers and hungry beaks .. no standing around taking photos of them today, righto kettle's on time to warm my feet by the fire*!*
Message for King Jack, this humble servant is searching the four corners of his kingdom for just the right doo ... Bwark better not have a blinking great Kingdom Jacko ... er, Sire your Kingship grovel grovel, your humble servant backs off stage centre right, air kisses
Tsup*!* I just put the nectar out for the new Lorikeets. At first thought it was the trees squeaking! The birds ARE very hungry today, perhaps their food blew away! Found the matches and will pass your message to King Jack. Hhehheee it's funny seeing you grovel like that Bimbimbie!
Haha! great photos! I love ducks, they have a sort of evil looking face but are still friendly. Maybe its all that eye make up they wear
Hhehhee thanks Clare! They do tend to overdo the eye makeup but it works for them to keep the real nasties away! ERRRMMMM think that one above was evaluating how nasty I was :O
Take a picture of the snow! The best camera is indeed the one that meets my need and one I can afford. Let it snow!
anon, i just love these shots. they remind me of a lazy wonderful day of snorkeling, feeling at peace with every other creature (even complicated humans).
your blog is so varied and creative i never know what to expect, and i am (almost) always delighted!
i can't keep up with you and ces. you are both fun daily multiple bloggers with daily multiple great posts. *sigh*
You've taken your birdyphotos to a new level anony! Can't wait to find out how you got a duck in a goldfish bowl! And who you callin' twits!!!
Please come over to my blog, there is something for you! ;)
Turns out it was just "soft fluffy hail" the kids thought was snow, Ces! It seems a two block radius around our house is the only place it didn't happen! I'm not walking two blocks to see it melted - it's freezing out there! 9 degrees Celsius anyway ;)
I'd like to know where you weren't delighted KJ. Was it when Jack was Lost and the eels? Heehee I only do ONE post a day. On two blogs...
HHAHHAAAAA, a duck in a goldfish bowl? Did I call you a "twit" Baino? I don't know why.... ;)
Thankyou Maria, I will be around shortly. After COFFEE and shoving the family out the door :)
The fish do add colour and perspective OnediaHayesSylvest :) Thankyou!
i had to say "mostly" to avoid drama and hyperbole, since i can be accused of both sometimes. can you imagine?
:)
STOP being so dramatic and exaggerating KJ! HAHA :)
