The bath looks dirtier than Mr Magpie! I assure you it isn't a mud bath :)
That is one handsome bird. (Don't tell Oliver I said that)
Mr Bond thinks so Debra Kay :)
Ich sehen mit meine eyes yah wasser bird.
Heehee, the Australian Magpie isn't normally classified as a water bird, Albrecht von Krappa. Your eyes aren't deceiving you though!
I think you lure them all in with promises of film contracts.
SHHHHHH ElizT! Have you ever considered showing that woolly wonderful woowoo to the world? Hmmmm, I could make you wery wanted if had wings... ;)
dang! looks like NO magpie i've ever seen... cute, tho ;) lol
That's because it's an 'Australian' Magipie LaughingWolf! DAH!! What does "dang" mean?
Shaken but not dry,
Shaken AND stirred Alan! Hheee
Okay, so the bird is nice but what about the tree! What's with the tree? Why does it look like it had a laparoscopy or an open wound? Is it because those pesky birds have been pecking on it? Is the tree alive and is this a paper tree? What's with the black part as if someone slapped and lathered it with mud? I have so many questions. Will appreciate a fuller photograph of the tree. Oh I forgot, this is a bird blog. Trees are just props.
Your blog is amazing. You offer so much diversity while staying on the same subject. Your knowledge of the subject matter is admirable, your love for the birds really shows in every photograph. You are a remarkable blogger.
Now to cut and paste this comment on another blog...
HAHAHAHAHA!!!!
Kidding aside, you are my absolute favorite bird lady. MWAH! TSUP!
Just like the disgusting condition of the swimming pool, the tree has also been through storm after storm, suffering with consequences. It is indeed a paperbark Ces! It's healthy for them to shed skin, like a face peel :) Both bath and tree are looking a lot cleaner now and all mud has dried and washed away - except from James Bond's extreme bathing! MWAH! TSUP! And cut it with all the other mushy stuff ;)
Grin - nice Magpie! Ugly Tree!
And someone else who's fed up with cutting and pasting!
I could cut and paste some "Lore ipsum" stuff. Does make as much sense as the other "mushy" stuff, but it'll fill some space! How 'bout it?
Cheers, Klaus
That tree is BEAUTIFUL Klaus! Go see today's post on my Photo Blog and you'll see a whole forest of them ;) NO "Lore ipsum"!!!! or mushy stuff. You will be EXTERMINATED!
Don't forget to doff yer hat Anony . . one magpie is very unlucky . .I hope Pussy Galore is hovering in the paperbark!
I'm not superstitious Baino :)*GASP*!?! You have seen Pussy Galore!?! THAT'S bad luck, she is a trapeze artist!!
I am back. I lost my Internet connection and had to talk to people in India and then the Phillpines and then Dallas. At least I can visit you and tell you that I am not mushy. CUT and Paste comment rules! HAHAHAHA!
ACHMEMMMM Ces! Are you saying Cut and Paste RULES!?! Hhehheeee :)
Cut and Paste STINKS to high heaven especially when it is a comment. I am just trying to annoy you but I see you are not, so never mind. I am the one who is annoyed with the Help desk in India!
I lurv Pussy Galore and Holly Goodhead.
All my buttons have frozen in the cold Ces Hhehee :) Please be careful, you might call up Hellcat from the depths of ... somewhere :O Nevermind...
I LOVE his Tux!
and his Martini mixing!
Tsup*!* You looking at Me....... Paperbark trees are amazing *!*
I like the rusty bird bath.
LOL! He is quite shaken, not stirred! And a very handsome bather at that, I bet all the girl magpies were swooning. ;)
Good night Anon. Wake up!
politer form of DAMN! :O lol
I just looked up magpie in the dictionary and it IS an ELSTER!!
D'ora discovered one today at the Donauinsel, too, sitting on top of a tree and scolding down on us...
Oh yummy. I like a bird that is shaken, not stirred.
Sorry I haven't been around. I'm doing good now though, and should be posting on my blog soon.
love,
cat
HAHA, he is a Bird with style Simon!
Tsup*!* Tsup*!* for your eyes only Bimbimbie ;) I also LOVE paperbark trees! They have fairy kingdoms living within their folds!
The pool is terra-cotta Caroline, covered in mud and matter from many storms... :)
Melissa, Mr Bond is stirring you ;)
Good morning Ces! It's lazy Sunday today!!
I didn't think it was polite at all LaughingWolf! Hhehheee
Elster, yes Maria! Magpie's think they are the masters of all the land except in our backyard where the Parrots Rule ;)
SCAT CAT! Hhehheee yipee!
Oh, I adore penguins! I can sit and watch them for hours on end. They are so entertaining and I love the way they swim. How lucky you are to have penguins!
