Again a feast of great photos Anon! Plovers, Terns, godwits!

The M7 cycle track has a lot of littel wet lands and creeks that they have engineered into it and there seems to be quite a bit of bird life too

Thanks Simon :) Sounds like a delightful ride!

Ha, They do look a little like some type of Muppets don't they. I can just imagine they'd give Kermit a tern for the worst *kaboom tshhh*

Hope you had a nice Mothers day. Much to my mother chagrin I spent the day filming soccer. Although the mothers stuck at the chilly soccer field seemed more annoyed than mine.

Heehee, they are Beakers with a real beak G3TFilms! I had a wonderful Mother's Day and one of its delights was the whole day being mine to decide what to 'make' everyone else do. NO soccer fields for me! HEEHEE :) My Mum was mountain climbing! Hey ... that's what I made my brood do too ;)

No mountain climbing for me, that's just perverse! But thanks for the greeting.

Hhehheee, an ant hill or a mountain is just perception ElizT ;)

"meee meee meee mee meeee meeee!"

That's my best Beaker imitation. ;)

I love terns! I saw one once while at the shore and he had a mouth full of wiggly little fish all lined up neatly in his beak. This morning the girls and I saw a wee male ruby-throated hummingbird on our clothes line! It's so rare to see the little buggers sitting still. :)

If a tern poops on your head, have you taken an tern for the worst?

HAHA, Beaker wasn't cool but cool because he wasn't Melissa, life-like imitation!! "kirrrik kirrik kirrik" doesn't have the same ring to it, but "meee meee meee" wouldn't be the same from the rock pools ;) Bet you wished to have had your camera when the 'ruby' stood still! I would have :)

I would have taken a tern for the worst Debra Kay. What about you? Heehee

Did Melissa really say b*ggers?

Hahhaa Miladysa, Melissa DID say buggers ... how English of her! Okay, seeing you can't say it ... must be Aussie ;)
