The wind made the shapes and storm the colours!

The wind and rain give the duck a good journey home to relax for the weekend after another week at the office. It pays for the bills.

What am I talking about?

HAHA you are talking about how a duck has to pay for his bill Modroom! *duck* Storms would be exciting if I were a duck :)

KJ has been telling me I should visit you blog for months now ... I'm finally getting here to take in your photos and now I know what she is all excited about! :) These photos are wonderful! I especially like the one of the shot from beneath the pelican ... awesome. Thanks for posting these lovely shots. I'm a devoted lover of birds, and I'll be back to your site.

You are even luckier than the rest of us Joy Eliz! The Mallard might even give you a present like the Pelican did! HAHAHHHAAAA!!

How lucky do you feel KJ? As lucky as Joy Eliz? “Ribbons from heaven” I do believe the Mallards will have to scrounge garbage bins to produce such a multi coloured and ‘streaming’ gift };-}

A SLEW of unique AWARDS Ces!?! Are you sure you want me to swim over right now because I have caught a bug from the water which is highly contagious PLUS it’s Father’s Day here in Australia! Do you think it is a cootie, I don’t think Dad would like that either. I’ll visit as soon as able and looking forward to flying your way Ces! *swimming in … ah something*

Hello Melissa, excuse the mess and thank you for flying by! Please do visit again, the Pelican might be polite enough to stop by too!

*duck* Perriette!

*duck!* Wizard Why!

The light was magic Lavender … MUST remember to only photograph water birds before a storm from now on :) If the storm doesn’t catch me first!

Finish your Father's Day tea and they stop by as soon as you are able.

Thanks Ces ... I'm giving solids and liquids a miss at the moment but won't miss flying your way when able :)

More Ducks! More awards!! What strange insane place have I landed now?

Anonymous said...

This is AnonyBird's Backyard, Ophelia Grim! You have been munching on toxic weeds!

Tara LaMar said...

Does Lavender know you think she is a toxic weed? tsk tsk tsk.... shhhh..............

btw: Home from where?

Tara LaMar said...

OH, do let me elaborate: Lavender is NOT toxic, she is tasty and smells very nice...a very relaxing scent. Lav, you should bottle yourself, you'd make a fortune!

Anonymous said...

Lavender is a beautiful herb Ophelia Grim! Be careful munching or you might smell nice!

Lavender said...

Tehehe - Ive been called many things, but never toxic....you can mix me with wormwood and beeswax for a nice flying ointment if you dare! Wheeeeeee-----

Anonymous said...

Make up your mind Ophelia Grim and STOP messing up the order of comments!

Lavender, there are flies around that Ophelia Grim but I think they are her friends
};-}

Tara LaMar said...

Those are bees, birdbrain!

Lavender, I sprinkle my sheets with you so I can sleep. You are wonderful. I HAVE tried the flying oinment, but I inhaled too much wormword while mixing and...well...my broom bounced off the moon. Terrible accident, really.

Tara LaMar said...

Anon, you are not the taskmaster of ME! I'll mix and match as I please! HA!!!

Sometimes my shampoo is lavender. Now I will think of lavender when I shampoo. Sometimes it is strawberry or kiwi or apple and aloe. Sometimes I just plop myself in the fruit section of the grocery to have my shampoo. It does not work all the time, the fruits are hard and hurt my head.

Tara LaMar said...

They are good for exfoliating the skin, though, Ces. As for washing your hair, just dip it some fruit salad at the salad bar. That is what I do. The cole slaw also makes for a wonderful facial mask.

My whole house smells like Lavender because I burn her oil!

I will leave Ces at the asylum to continue her 'beauty' treatment with Ophelia Grim. However, I'm afraid she might not be able to see if ever makes it back to the Birds in the Backyard ...

Tara LaMar said...

If she is lucky, she won't!

Anonymous said...

Why exactly are you here Ophelia Grim? Don’t answer!!!

Ces Adorio said...

I tried that once and my children disowned me!

Anonymous said...

I don't blame them Ces! Try not to make the same mistake - PLEASE!

Lavender said...

I hope Ophelia had some Boneset to make tea of after her moon crash - that musta hurt!

Anonymous said...

Hhehehhehee, I'm SURE Ophelia didn't feel a thing, Lavender!
