WOW!! Im smiling from ear to ear - Fabbo work Anon, and I would bet my bottom dollar that she really enjoyed that too!

Well, now I know to flick jam onto the grass if I want clear shots of the Wattles Lavender! HAHA. The blob fell from my scone and not wanting ants to attack the table ... flicked it. In a SECOND ... there was Mrs Wattle. I was a bit worried about the sugar content but the label on the jar read none was added :)

These are the most amazing pictures... you have the most amazing and photogenic birds!

This session was great Princess Pepper Cloud :) They ARE very good models if you take care of them with the odd 'extras'. It's not good to feed the local wildlife though ... very bad habit :)

Oh wow, I see some features on the bird that I never noticed before. The coloring is quite attractive. She seems to really enjoy the jam.

HAHAHA she was VERY much enjoying the jam Ces :)

THAT IS BLOOD! ADMIT IT! It is a BUTCHER in disguise.

Do you call jello "jam", or visa versa? Liar told me that jello means jam. But he is a liar, and he is also English so what does he know?

I can't tell you how shocking it was when the wattle started moving, well it was shocking, and very cool, all the shots. This is better than Animal Planet.

I am breeding VAMPIRE birds Ophelia Grim! Depends ... do you have jello or jam with whipped cream on date scones? Perhaps you have never bothered with an English Breakfast ... there is a teapot involved.

Thanks Hardwax ... go lay down now :)

The red jam with her red eyes and red wattles - it was meant to be Anon!

Mmmmm, jam! For a second I thought the wattle's wattles were globs of jam dripping off his delighted jam-eating face! :)

Heehee! Lavender is even eating like a Wattlebird now ;) The ultimate colour co-ordination for the Morning Range in the Spring Parade, Lavender :)

Those are earrings named 'wattles' Melissa! Hhehheee, she dresses her best even for breakfast :)

WOW! what is the purpose of those red thingamadings below the neck??

how are you doing all these high tech animations, anon?

your blog is now part of my daily routine, you know...

:)

I'm so glad that you colour co-ordinate your food with your birds. It will be a challenge with the parrots though. Beautiful pics!

NO spoiling MerlinPrincesse, I flicked the jam for the ants to eat on the grass and not my breakfast table! SEE Princess Pepper Cloud turned up and she's an ant!

The purpose is unknown for their long drooping red wattles, KJ! However I have noted their nest and trees for food all have leaves that turn bright red before dropping. It's a bit of a mission for me to discover why! That's just a GIF KJ! I also try to visit the backyard daily :)

The Rainbow Lorikeets do like blueberries, which is the only blue food I can think of right now ElizT :) Thanks!

WOW!!!! A fitting breakfast for one as pretty as she! Now you must be a genius to be able to make the pics move like that. Well done!

She does look lovely TsDuff, and it was supposed to be breakfast for one only HAHA! It's a basic GIF, the first moving image most try when beginning animation ...

That is so cute! Is that wattlebird the only one interested in jam? Here the orioles like it. If I'm ever lucky enough to catch one on film I'll be sure to share it.

The honeyeaters probably all like jam Red Mojo, haven't flicked it before. Don't forget to tell us when you do catch a Orioles on film! They sound like a type of biscuit ... :)

It looks like Mrs. Wattlebird really likes the jam (what flavor?) and it also looks like she's a messy eater. hahahahahaha!

Joy Eliz - Blackberry Jam, all natural from a scone with cream :) You don't ever get a dob of cream or jam on your nose?

Joy Eliz said...

No. I don't eat cream with scones and jam. I eat peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. No mess at all
and since you never got your answer... Jam is jelly with fruit bits. Jello is gelatin.

Anonymous said...

AHA! Thanks for answering Opelia Grim's question for me Joy Eliz :) She WAS speaking gobbly gook!

It was indeed jam we were eating. 'Jello' is what sick people eat with icecream in hospital, it's eaten cold after set in the fridge - we call that "jelly". Our jam only has "jelly"-like bits in it because of the pectin in fruits. That's what holds it all together when fruit is cooked to make jam - all called "jam"! We don't call anything "jello". Phew :)

You eat peanut butter with pectin and fruit sandwiches?

Joy Eliz said...

No, wait... what?
p'nut butter and jam without any bits.
What do you call that?
