SO The Spring Parade has really begun this time! Not bad modelling ...
Not bad pictures. All threir colours are amazing but I had'nt noticed the swish-type effect on the chests before.
Each chest feather has dual colours, starting from the base they are white, then green or blue ending in orange or red Modroom! Very observant this early in the morning:)
I have a party today!
I wish I had feathers like that.
I've been collecting feathers and will do a post in the future to show. Maybe super glue could work for you Modroom?
Amazing textures on their plummage. This view gives it a fierce look, which the beautiful colors temper.
They also have a temper Ces!
Lovely shots! Arent they sweet to have posed so nicely for them :)
I have a collection of budgie feathers - waiting for me to find something to do with them...ideas come and go, but all the while the collection grows tehehe
Hope you have a wonderful party day!
Sweet is a 'sweet' word for them Lavender :) They were waiting for fruit! Hhahhahaaaa, see the intense stares? Maybe you could do a post with your budgie feathers Lavender. I keep collecting the lorikeet ones but there are never enough. It just started RAINING AGAIN!!!
Get a drink or you'll be spitting feathers.
I've stuck some sparrow feathers on with blu-tac. Now I will fly away...
All I can say is beautiful, beautiful & more beautiful!
Woohoo! The rain stopped just in time for the chairs and tables to be dried and the sun stayed with us for the WHOLE Party!! Most successful garden party so far. Even the birds behaved :)
Ummm Modroooooom ... sparrow feathers are tiny and ummmm blu-tac isn't as good as what the ads say. Hellooooo ...
Thanks for your beautiful comment Sharon :)
You're so lucky to have so many different birds around you and we're all lucky that you post their photos for us to enjoy!
Exceptional!
hahahah...Jack has got to get his two cents in there.
AWWWW, it did seem to be a good idea to post the birds on a blog when there are so many of them Sharon :)
Thank you Perriette :) The lorikeets are Jack's closest friends, I'd imagaine his comparing won't be as kind for others ...
Oh, I'm sure Jack has plenty to say...on everything!
I tend to pay so much attention to the birds and what they are doing that I missed just what an excellent photographer of these creatures you are, Anon. Same with your flowers. Bravo!
Why thank you Perriette, you are TOO kind
};-}
Cute birds. But Jack is stil the KING! :)
Which is why Jack is in every post MerlinPrincesse!
I AM too kind. KJ and Ces are best friends and say such nice things to one another. They make us look bad so I had to throw something "nice" in, too. Blah, we are still Evil Twins...Mwhahahha...
I did mean what I said, though };-}
I know you meant what you said Perriette, and now know why you were so NICE when saying it! *vomit*
