Morning Rainbows

King Jack The Rainbow Lorikeets are usually the first to arrive screaming for fresh fruit. The native trees will soon be abundant with fresh flowers for a healthier breakfast. Oh dear, we have caught them at a bad time. THE SPRING PARADE HAS BEGUN! ... Jack

That's pear Modroom! I wouldn't be putting the audience in danger ... DON'T scare them away!

Otherwise it would be the Quarantine Station for them!

Hhehehhehheeee Modroom, they would have to do the ghost walk AND eat, live, sleep in Quarantine!

I haven't mentioned about their 'toilet' habits Lavender ... they can projectile from one end of the house to the other! Still love them regardless ...

HEY ... this is NOT a refined way to begin a Spring Parade :)

It is amazing. They know where to go, where they are welcomed. They probably are looking for Anon The Bird Lady with the fresh fruits!

The lorikeets are being weaned off fresh fruit, now winter and the storms are over Ces :) They are also Jack's friends and visit him just to talk. As if Jack doesn't talk enough!

They're lovely! What colors! I used to have a parakeet when I was little (named Snuggles ...) and I would set his cage by the window and let him watch the birds at our feeder. Our radio station would play a chorus of birdsong to start their broadcast day and Snuggles would join in every morning!

Oh Anon, yes, am familiar with the quality of the projectiles tehehehe
but still would love to have a ......yes Im going to say it....a GO! Harharhar Im feeling cheeky as a Lorikeet tonight!

Just like rainbows Melissa! Snuggles sounds like Jack who doesn't like to miss the afternoon Children's Television programs but the kids don't sing in bird language. Maybe that's where he learnt some 'bad' words ... Jack sits in an inside cage by the window when it's raining, otherwise he's in an outside Castle :)

HAHAHHHAHAAA we are having a 'go' as you know with Jack, Lavender! So long as he's not fed when out and we watch him after the first ten minutes, we are safe! He will aim from his indoor cage if we are even five minutes overdue for his 'free time'! You make a good Lorikeet yourself!

I want to see Jack do that. It sounds like a perfect weapon!

I still haven't captured Jack's attack in photograph form Ces! He is very sneaky about it and super fast!!!

Bowing to demands from birds first thing in the morning KJ? I don't even get my coffee first and I'm followed to the bathroom!

HAHAHHAHHAHAAAAA. It could be another rainbow Joy Eliz, depending on what they ate!

They really seem to be enjoying themselves!

Anonymous said...

Sharon, you are someone who would recognise in each photo the different looks in their eyes :)

Hhehheeee, Joy prefers Wattlebirds, Perriette. Wait until she sees jam on their faces!

Anonymous said...

What are you going to jam their poor little faces into? Meanie.

Since when did Joy become such a fan of birds? She used to moan about them all the time.

Anonymous said...

They jammed their own faces Perriette! Wattlebirds like honey just like Joy. It's very difficult to moan about honey :)

Anonymous said...

Joy is a honey lover? She should have been with MP when she met Winnie the Pooh.
