Swamped with Purple Swamphens.
Wow, what a regal pose in the first shot. Isnt that colour interesting...you do a have knack for bird shots!
Thanks Lavender! Lavender IS regal and closely related to purple! The birds do like hiding behind things and my camera usually focuses on a blade of grass in front. The trick is to be quick!
Oh the birds are so elegant. Butt what is the third one doing? Whatt is thatt white color on it's behind? It looks like it is laying an emu egg!
I love your swamp! I would go there just to draw the swamp with all the wild twisty, snarly, skinny, bendy trees!
Oh the first one Anon, may I please draw that photo?
Look! it's a purple chicken... Bawk, Bawk!!!!
Best dressed chicken in town!
Quick is not somethiing my camera does, it has a shutter lag so long you can feel yourself growing old, while snapping pictures of empty perches - ergh!
I rather like being Regal! ;) Could get used to it.
Hmmm, I can only see two swamphens Ces. The second is minding its own business hehheeee. Did you listen to the sound file from the swamp below? About to post more hens ... take your pick :)
Hello Joy Eliz ... you scared the purple hen!!!
I hope he doesn't try to cross a road for a night in town Modroom :)
All digital cameras have a 'lag' no matter how much they cost or how new they are Lavender ... hence my mutiple 'leaf' photographs! Maybe try a 'sport setting' and throw out the other dozen with an empty perch? Hhehheeeee. I like photographing birds because so far they are the greatest challenge to capture:)
I'm even more swamped now.
Lucky there isn't quick sand in these parts, Perriette!
I might try 'sport' could be interesting...I do use "burst" - that way I usually get three or more shots of empty perches !! Im trying to capture a collection of empty perch portraits. (snork!)
Hhahah, is that a snork or a snort Lavender? It's important, you won't get many bird photographs underwater!
~gurgles~
You guys are a riot!
Yes, we do riot quite often Lavender
};-}
If you nailed it to a tree you could take as many pictures as you like.
That wouldn't be NATURAL BoiledEggInADeckchair!
Oh never mind... that clucking was from the boiledegghead.
*SNORK!* (hope you don't mind lavender)
I mind Joy Eliz! You scared the swamphens away AGAIN ...
pppfffftttt!
Not only with sound but with smell as well Joy Eliz!
