Thanks, Lavender :) He was performing for a good half an hour, the wind kept knocking me over and extreme glare made this lot of shots disappointing, but more to come ...

The Little Pied Cormorant was on the outskirts of the swamp KJ, thus exposed to the post/pre storm winds. Outskirt photos are fuzzy even with an optical image stabilizing camera! Maybe thinking you are Cookie means you're really a Cuckoo who can't stop laughing!?!

Being the first day for weeks when it wasn't raining (well, half a dry day) was a good excuse Lavender! It's not easy finding birds until the end of this Winter in particular! More than half way there now... I hope :)

It is terribly quiet without them around. My blog is empty, too.
