Jack is still asleep Ces, he had a rough day yesterday in the wind. He also swallowed too many bubbles when I was washing up.

If you want to see vultures go to Hildegarde's blog, another nature photographer and a conservationist. She photographed the vultures from Spain migrating to the Netherlands because the carrion suppliers (muladares - places where farmers throw their dead farm animals, an ancient practice) were shut down by the government and contracted to a processing plant. So the vultures had no food and flew all over Europe in search of carrion.
We used to have vultures flying over the street just outside our neighborhood. Then they razed the woodlands to build new homes and all the big birds are gone, only the birds who eat my tomato crop remained.

I went to Hildegarde's blog and saw her great vultures! Now I am also angry about the Spanish Government doing such a thing for MONEY!
The closest bird we have to Vultures is Hawks. I would have to climb a mountain outside Sydney to find one. We are very lucky in Australia with many National Parks and Reserves. My Dad has a lot to do with the conservation of the ones in our State. Build a scaresparrow Ces!
