I knew it. I knew that there was a bird at the ned of every rainbow.

I mean "end" of the rainbow. I was just thinking of Ned.

A most marvellous capture. Ey would have it jolly-well stuffed & mounted.

What a lovely golden beak he has, lovely shots as usual Anon!
Not so windy here today - and all the birds are rejoicing. Yesterday it was hard slog just to hold a perch - today is much nicer!

*flap flap flap* I'm still alive! Need sleep, so need another day before joining you at the swamp again ...

Ces, who is Ned?

Perriette, who are you talking to?

Queen Victoria, you can't mount Intermediate Egrets! They are protected because I say so!

Lavender it was FREEZING at the Snow Party, especially when we had to be up at a quarter past five this morning!

MerlinPrincesse, I'm not Perriette and why are you laughing?

So, at one end of the rainbow is an Egret - what about the other end?

It looks like a ghost eating a wooden spoon.

Nice shot. We see lots of big birds like that along the San Gabriel River bike path here in California. I believe some are Egrets but not sure. We haven't been lucky enough to get a good photo like yours but when we do I'll post it.

Also like your previous post of the bird preening itself!

Joy Eliz, The other end of the rainbow was an ugly house! The photo was taken on the way home on a phone :)

That must be the funny angle you see from BoiledEggInADeckchair!

Let me know when you have California Egrets photographed Sharon :) Thanks!

Your eyes do look squinty Joy Eliz ... sure it isn't the white mascara making things difficult?

Joy Eliz said...

What? Are you saying I need a new Avitar?
