Everyone duck! I mean RAVEN!
What a shame. I was raven about Dora and then you go and get washed out of the dang thing... and not a single donkey sighting along the way? They're everywhere... they threatened you with more rain didn't they!
HAHHAA G3TFilms, not a single donkey was seen through the massive beads of rain and the locals thought I was Raven Mad asking where I could find a Spoonbill! It became a joke and the whole family asked everyone they came across where they could find a Spoonbill - we were the talk of the town, they were raven about us looney tourists HAHA.
I'd wave a Raven in the air and throw it out the window.
You'd do better than the Great Cormorant Eggs in those nests then! You might be a BoiledGreaterRavenEggInADeckchair!!!
I am BoiledEggInADeckchair.
A BoiledEggInADeckchair with no arms to throw Ravens with. Heehee
Yeah, I don't think the locals are known for their bird watching. They're a little more down to earth. A spoon bill to them would be how much a spoon costs at the StoneGrill Restaurant.
Oooh, the bottom pic has a bird in action, like it is ready to strike a-la Kung Fu Hustle. Heeeyah!
GT3Films, one local crept up behind me at the break of one dawn when I was stalking to take the photos in the post below. Obviously trying to find out what I was doing and where I came from to tell the rest of the suburb. His eyebrows nearly lept past the top of his head when I said I was taking photographs of ducks. Only shook him off when focused on the only other wildlife - spiders. Next time I might tell someone I'm a Developer ... that should wake them up! Not in Catherine Hill Bay - they were already too scary there! Hhehheee
Raven Kung Fu Hustle Ces!!! Heeeyah!!! Ooops, sorry.
Anon, ouch! Stop it. How come your word verification looks easier than mine? I can't find a setting to make mine look like yours. Heeehyah!
I already said I'm "sorry" Ces but this twitch isn't going away! Oooops, oooops, ooops ... My verification is about to look even easier because forgot to take it off when back from holidays ;) Heeeeehyahhhhh! Ooops.
For a town of about a hundred houses they certainly know how to get active. The coal loader up at Catho is unreal!
Ah yes... the spiders... and mosquitoes. Damnable biteys!
Hhahha, we had one of those moments when passing the pub littered with Catho Campaigners that if we stopped the car, no one back home would ever know what had happened to us! The coal loader and other hazy, unusual structures will be posted at PhotographyAnonymous within the next couple of weeks, GT3Films ;)
I am looking forward to more vacation photos but I have to wear a helmet and a body pads when I return. Heeyah!!!
oh go on! Rave On!!! oops I mean Rav en! ahahahahahahh :o)
Good idea Ces, or you'll never see the very dark and can hardly see anyway holiday photos. HEEEEYAAAAAH!
Hhehheee, NOT a good idea to call the Ravens to perch on you Simon :)
You are in a good mood, aren't you? Hmn?
mean ol ravens :(
heeeeyaahh
This morning I was woken by a mower out the back and a whipper snipper out the front Ces. AT SEVEN! HEEEEEEYAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!
They were being mean Red Mojo. What was that? A tickle or something? Hhehhehee
It IS frustrating to watch nests being plundered and babies scattered... but that is the way nature works. Nice pictures anyway.
Although distressing, it was an immense privilege to experience the raid TsDuff :) Thanks!
