I can hear the music!
Haha . . I love their grumpy faces . . and those feet! Fine flippers they are!
Heeheee Baino, we know what flippers were designed from now! That grumpy face reminds me of someone; especially in the first photograph ... in the mirror yesterday! ;)
I think he needs glasses.
HHAHHAAAA I think you're right Red Mojo! Goggles would suit him finer ;)
There is one thing I love about this bird and its those gorgeous feet!!!
:o)
They look almost bat-like, wrapping around the wood Simon :)
Tsup*!* Tsup*!* agghh I was about to say your feet ... what happened to the bat before you got them? ... perhaps I don't need to know *!*
Pied... It's foot in French... I wonder why they call it LITTLE pied....mmmm....I would have called him bigfootbird...
Tsup*!* Tsup*!* Bimbimbie! Hhehheheee, maybe a bat got to his feet!
That's very interesting MerlinPrincesse! However in English it refers to his colouring of black and white. Other Cormorants are mostly black and their feet are even larger because they aren't 'little' Cormorants :)
YEP... he really looks... a trifle annoyed in that first shot!
Punk Pied! ;-D
Tee hee - if he didn't exercise, he might get a stiff neck! HA HA HA.
Love these grebie piccies - you get such great close ups. My zoom just doesn't zoom enough.
A Little Peeved Punk, Miladysa!
With this lot, I was as close as it appears in the photos TsDuff! Slowly shuffling along on my bottom keeping head below his. Very good exercise for something other than neck! A good zoom is a must for photographing birds though :)
Is he now wondering about that strange penguin with a camera.
Hhehhehheee, beyond caring about what I look like in public photographing birds ElizT ;) No wonder why a couple of people refer to me as the "Bird Lady"! Didn't think it was a penguin though!! Hah!
Do you think he'd mind if I scooped his fuzzy self up and snuggled him?? Great shots, Anon! I love his webbed feet balancing on the log. And did I mention the fuzzies? Grumpy fuzzer.
Oh that top pic is priceless! Ha!
Absolutely stunning photos :)
What do YOU think Melissa? His face looks that grumpy with me just looking at him! HAHA!! He is a grumpy fuzzer :)
He thinks so too Joy Eliz! Maybe it's that fact I had NO fish to pay for his modelling?
Thankyou A Wildlife Gardener and thanks for visiting. I was actually able to get close this time ;)
