Drowned Rat Back

I'm back! He's not sure what to do. I'm a little lost also, too many posts to catch up on! Thankyou to those who still visited while I was away!

Below is a ten minute break during the last week. I risked my camera's well being in the 'lighter' rain - dark and wet. It wasn't just raining like in Sydney; an hour and a half drive North it was POURING and FLOODING. Below is actually our driveway and not a creek. Just kidding! I'll be posting grainy, dark photographs for the next couple of weeks at PhotographyAnonymous.

Quack, back inside - here comes the rain again!

When it's rainy, photos are grainy!

WELCOME BACK!!!! I missed you. Looks like a kindergarten sandbox. Everyone playing nicely with one another.

Thanks Ces! The best thing about the holiday was the whole family was together, like in the 'sandbox' above :)

I love the colour contrast!

Sometimes light rain can make colours more vibrant Simon, opposed to the grey of heavy rain!

There is nothing warmer and more fun than a family glued by the rain.

Hahhaa, hello KJ! You're back!

I agree Ces, not even lots and lots of coffees have the same fun or warmth as smelly, sticky, wet family members crammed into a heated small space ;)

Thanks! Luckily Jack has a sweet tongue opposed to 'tooth' and has been put on a strict nectar diet for the next few days MerlinPrincesse :) Why are you giggling and WHY did you allow Mademoiselle Princesse to escape over here?!? OH ... fly away why don't you! Oh you did.

if i will and pray that you did not have rain over your entire vacation, is it possible to make it so after-the-fact?

Parrot in flight
Is a delight.

I might paint some of the local pigeons because we're lacking in bird colours here.

Welcome back! Hooray! I hope you had a good time! Can you explain what Anzac Day is? It's on my calendar and I thought, I know just the person to ask. :) I love these shots of the lorikeets mixed in with the teals and ducks -- such color!

Welcome back to 'sunny Sydney' although it's freezing this morning! Luverly weather for ducks I say.

The Rainbow Lorikeets do look delightful with wings expanded Captain Modroom9! You might find the pigeons can't breath if painted!

Thankyou Melissa! Anzac Day was last Friday, April 25th and means something different to each Australian but is Australia's most important national occasion marking the anniversary of the first major military action fought by Australian and New Zealand forces during the First World War. ANZAC stands for Australian and New Zealand Army Corps. HERE is a good page to refer to for more information ;)

Hhehhheee, you're right Baino, Sydney's rain is now being accompanied by cold and windy weather. Sigh. At least the ducks above are Australian, but even they were hiding from the wet and cold!

Hello Mr Pigeon! Is that your head falling off or a gift? I don't mean your hat but I might need one similar if you keep visiting :)
