I do believe there's a glint of light outside today. Sydney weather has been dark for at least a week. Makes the fact my email service still isn't receiving a tiny bit less FRUSTRATING :) Need to air .... *flap flap*

Did you have your coffeeeee? Go drink it in that glint of light!!! Maybe e-mails will come back after that... :)

No I haven't MerlinPrincesse. There may be a glint of light but it's VERY windy out there! I'll bask in the kitchen :) COFFEE!

Wow, that's a wingspan! Showing baby pied how it's done! :) Hope you get some more light down there.

Hahah, the bottom one's span is beautiful Melissa :) Unfortunately where we're going for holidays on Monday will be having Sydney's recent and we'll be following the worst North... *crossing feathers the weather man is wrong* The good news is water birds are best photographed just before and after foul weather :)

I'd like to see the Cormorant (?) jump up and down on the branches like a spring board and bounce off but that probably dos'nt happen much.

I hope your wind subsides soon. Have you contacted the email technical help services to ascertain what the nature of the email problem is?

I didn't do a film of take-off Captain Modroom9, but expect to see something similar when we have Extreme Sports :)

I'll try not to eat too much fruit ;) There has been a National Outrage and I'm lucky to have only had my email effected - many have problems with all services. At least I can visit my blog :)

It must be like a National Outage Outrage there. Oh well good to count one's blessings and remain positive!

Tsup*!* I hope you haven't been blowing your dark Sydney weather this way .. its turning grey and showery as I type. We live in one of good old Telstra's Black spots and have to have our own satellite dish parked on the roof in order to communicate via the wibbly wobbly world - the weather from time to time affects our service.

I can appreciate that bird airing it's wings ... too much raw fish must leave a terrible pong in one's wing pits Tsup*!*

We are OUTRAGED CaptainModroom9! It's good to air :) By the way, that's an Australasian Darter airing his wing pits ;)

Tsup*!* Tsup*!* Bimbimbie :) I'm trying to blow the dark weather South as I type! It appears to be growing in magnitude, engulfing this whole side of Australia! You're right, with a similar diet, there must be a terrible pong from one's pits :)

Do you need Stanley & Co Anon? Hope thing get brighter :-D

There is no doubt in my mind that this Darling Darter is very proud of him/herself :-D

Is he/she standing upon a stray branch floating in the water?

merlinprincesse said...

If you have australasian darters, you must have australasian lukeskywalkers too... :)
Have you tried clicking on the little icon where you can open your outlook or whatevah you have? Mwhahahhahahahah! I'm so funny! *snarf*

Ces Adorio said...

Australian lukesywalkers?

I was thinking how the Australians dominate the Olympic swimming competition. Is it because they train with the darters?

merlinprincesse said...

Dart Vader.... Luke Skywalker, CES... *sigh* OK... I'm a bit tired... Not my best... :(

Here's to well aired wing pits.

Ces Adorio said...

I know MP. I was just repeating you :-)

Good morning Miladysa! Of course I need Stanley and Co, have been missing my reading ;) That's a healthy self respecting Darter and an alive tree weeping over the waters :)

*snarf*? *SNARF*? Don't you mean "surf" MerlinPrincesse? Emails are still slowly rolling in from last couple of days ...

It's because Australians are the fittest and healthiest people in the world Ces, despite the fast food outlets sprouting from overseas :))

I agree Debra Kay, but right now if I flapped, I'd be blown away in the weather!

It's nice to see MerlinPrincesse and Ces can entertain themselves in the comments for when I'm away next week ;)

tsduff said...

How did you manage to make the cormorant look so sleek and beautiful... quite a feat!

merlinprincesse said...

"snarf" is the noise beautiful mermaids make with their beautiful nose when they have a cold... You can't hear it, cause the Sea is burping too loud... :P

Anonymous said...

HAHA, maybe the next one you'll see will be sleek and beautiful TsDuff :)

So what sort of noise is it when it comes out of your nose MerlinPrincesse?

Mary Stebbins Taitt said...

I do that sometimes in the summer, LOL! COOL shots! :-D Mary

merlinprincesse said...

I never make noises with my nose... *teehee*

atomicvelvetsigh said...

great shots! these birds are showing off to you! they know what you'll do.. :-) you should be featured in Discovery Channel or something..

Anonymous said...

So do I Mary Stebbins Taitt, and this Summer I discovered I had WINGS growing on my upper arms :O

WHAT was *teehee* that MerlinPrincesse?

Thanks AtomicVelvetSigh, good to see you here :) I'm blushing!
