Hanging Experts

Immature Silver Gull ...

with Crested Tern...

...ssss.

I have chivalrously received upon rainbow wings from Bimbimbie *Tsup!* *Tsup!* a pico award in the name of spirit, fun and laughter!
Have chosen to share this award with old birds MerlinPrincesse from Photos Reflections Creations plus Joy Eliz from Joy Eliz and the bee Captain Modroom9 from Hills with Trees. I didn’t want the Captain under my crest about calling him a bird! These are twits with multiple personalities and Hanging Expertise. They have regularly visited since the beginning of BirdAnonymous. I would like to thank them for their hilarious support!

Also, I'm tardily pointing to feathers inspired by Anonybird’s photography who posted their own photographs of birds at home. This award is now flying your way to encourage more posted local wings – Red Mojo, Miladysa, Hardwax, BoiledEggInADeckchair and Baino! Okay, Hardwax's birds were made of wood and it was something else that inspired The Egghead - but congratulations! Please pass the award in spirit, fun and laughter :)

TSUP*!* TSUP*!*

Great shots, Anon! I love gulls! :)

I shall do my best to get a good bird shot this weekend. So many feathered friends around lately. Check my blog in a little bit ... I'll be posting a video with bird sounds ... :)

Have a great weekend!

I can't fly so I'm not a bird it's true.. but maybe one day. I'm pleased to receive an award celebrating the Holy Trinity of Spirit, Fun and Laughter, especially amongst such esteemed company that visit this blog full of birds.

Thank you Anon, you must be completely covered in bird shit by now and have probably never looked so good. I say this in The Spirit of Laughter, and will gratefully put my award on my blog after watching Al Murray The Pub Landlord on telly.

Carry on getting covered!!

WOW, Blogger Draft even posted my comment! Except Red Mojo pointed out in the post below Google Reader reads the post before scheduled time. I'm up early anyway, everyone else is assssleeeep. Shhhhhhhhhh

You could try saying that anywhere you please Debra Kay if you like saying it that much :)

Hhehhheeee, I knew you'd love Gulls Melissa :) These are silver ones plus there is one other, and Australia should have more gulls being surrounded by this amount of water! OOOHHHHH bird sounds!

The award is celebrating the Anonyghost's Spirit that HAUNTS YOU Captain Modroom9 - nothing holy about that one! I look this good early in the morning all the time!

Lovely little bird blog you have here:)

Thanks for the undeserved award. I haven't taken many birdie pics lately maybe this weekend. I hope you weren't throwing your chips at those gulls! They're relentless

Anonymous said...

Thankyou Bookbabie and welcome, if you hang around long enough this little bird blog will GROW BIGGER! Heehee, have a nice day :)

I've seen you hiding birdie pics in Flickr Baino! The weather looks good enough this weekend for lots of photographs with your new camera. NO, I don't feed the seagulls chips or aim for them... anymore ;)

anon, i will try to take a bird photo for you while i'm away, which by the way is for the next 8 or 9 days. :)

Anonymous said...

That would be wonderful KJ! I thought about posting your Bird House photos but they aren't the same without feathers. You will be returning when I'm away on holidays!!! YEEHAAAH!! Not that we'll miss each other, but we'll be having a HOLIDAY :)

I want you to know you have given me an award and I know you have.

I like all of your parrots and coots and want to say I know I'm saying thank you for my award and you know that now.

I want you to know you're like a chicken, one of those boilers.

That is one hideous and tacky trophy and I say that in the spirit of fun and laughter especially after dear Bimbimbie - (Tsup!)gave me one for drawing so many trees with bird poop! As for you Anon, I am thinking of Captain Modroom's comment about you being covered with bird poop. Nice thought before I go to bed :-)

Anonymous said...

Hhehhee, I can see you are particularly happy I haven't given you ANOTHER hideous and tacky trophy Ces ;) Perhaps you should have photographed a pooping bird instead of drawing spots up in the trees after they left! To this day I have still NEVER been pooped upon ... apart from my new niece! Now I just need Perriette to turn up with her cleaver! Sweet dreams:)

Bimbimbie said...

Tsup*!* Tsup*!* I came to view the migration within your feathered flock.

Well I never... you call yours twits? Oooh noo, please, it's wicked to mock the afflicted*!*Tsup*!*

Anonymous said...

Tsup*!* Tsup*!* Bimbimbie! Once again thankyou for the Pico Award :) Of course the feathered birds aren't twits but in the spirit of fun and laughter, the poor afflicted visitors are! I just couldn't pass a beak around without a peck. You'll also find most of them ARE quite wicked! This is SO much fun, Mwhahahhahaa *Tsup*!*

Miladysa said...

My ducks have vanished?! Oh Dear! I shall have to find out where they are...

Thank you so much for this most prestigious award - it was a delight to find it waiting here for me this morning x

I hope to have a birdie pic for your later... if the rain ever stops!

I love these photographs - I have a soft spot for gulls - my father a former sailor always said he would return as a seagull and every time I see one I think of him ;-D

Anonymous said...

Thankyou Miladysa, if you find the ducks in the dell, I can replace your link to your latest Bird Photography. A NEW birdie pic!?! I hope the rain ceases quickly for both of us! That is a delighful reminder of your Father, Miladysa :) Whenever I hear about Bunyips I think of mine!

Ces Adorio said...

How could that be that you nave NEVER been pooped upon where casual strangers and non-bird afficonados get bombed by their zingers all the time - the tropical birds seem to do that the most. Maybe lots of fibers in their diets. The birds here in the US are constipated, I think. Oh dang! I hope dear Bimbimbie does not think that I am ungrateful for receiving the beautiful award! :-0

Just for the sport of it, I will post photographs of birds on my blog to express appreciation for the award. Hahah!

merlinprincesse said...

CES!!! The birds in America are NOT constipated.... I can tell... ;o)

Joy Eliz said...

It sure looks like summer is there to stay - shouldn't you be in fall?
Thanks for the pico award - although I can't say I really know what it means... Ha!
And what's all this 'tsup'? all of a sudden I see it in everyones comments.

Anonymous said...

Birds like me Ces! However, I didn't include Jack who when first moved here thought I was the bathroom. What "sport" is that Ces? You have never posted photographs of birds for ME! Which is why you didn't receive another BEAUTIFUL Award!

MerlinPrincesse is right. She feeds all the birds of America fruit :)

It feels like Summer is here to stay Joy Eliz! Except becoming chilly at night if forget to light the fireplace :) Pico means "beak" which is why I'm pursing my beak together and rapidly suctioning the air in to create a "TSUP*!* My pleasure Joy Eliz! We are trend makers at the Bird Blog hehhehheee!

Bimbimbie said...

Tsup*!* message to Ces ... fear not but perhaps I would advise you to wave your pico at your constipated birds before they deliver onto you lol Tsup*!*

Anonymous said...

Hhehhe Bimbimbie! Maybe the birds of America drink too much coffee!?! Tsup*!*

RED MOJO said...

Anony, Thank you so much for my hideously tacky award. I love it!!! Tsup. I'm also very surprised!!!

Anonymous said...

Tsup*!* Red Mojo! It is my pleasure, and I hope your HUGE surprise of receiving a hideously tacky award is not so shocking as you would never be able to photograph your birds again!

Gledwood said...

did i ever tell you the silly argument i once got into with some Australians about the size of seagulls?

i had insisted they were "huge with 5 ft wingspans)...

no no what PLANET are you living on, said an entire room full of Aussies in London, laughing at me

we used to have zillions of gulls on our school field so I KNOW what they look like

long story short: said Aussies went to British beach. i got postcard back conceding that British herring gulls are indeed double the size of Aussie gulls they are just one thing down from the albatross.

i love seagulls. it's the bird i would choose to be if i had to be winged.

all that flight with so little flap certainly suits me!!

Anonymous said...

HAHHHAAAA, so the English have something equal to our 'Dropbear' and 'Bunyip' monsters to scare the tourists Gledwood :) But yours are REAL! I think you look great as a hampster, but if winged the way you describe Herring Gulls would be a good thing for you ;)

By the way, it is YOU I met Bimbimbie through! Thank you :) Tsup!

Joy Eliz said...

Oh!!! ok! it's so nice to be in the loop! Now I can officially use the *TSUP!* except I'm not a bird and it feels akward. hahahahaha!

Anonymous said...

*TSUP*!* Joy Eliz! It's the birds who learnt *tsuping*!* off humans :)
