They look so lonely, looking for Anon. It's party time! Anon is not here, let's see if she notices when she comes back that the furniture have been rearranged.

I'm with you, Ces! Where shall I put the this table? LOL

Anon -- these shots are great ... I can just hear the water. I love to watch shore birds -- it's relaxing. I just got a chance to see the miner photos and videos -- super splashing!

do they lay their eggs in the rocks? we have killdeers up here who lay their eggs in rocks...and they look just like rocks. twice, i've almost stepped on one...

the only thing that saved me both times was mommy's behavior...it clued me that i must be near her nest.

Hmmmm, someone has moved the furniture, but then someone else moved it back again! Thanks for your comments Ces, Melissa, Mary Stebbins Taitt, KJ, and Miladysa!

Catnapping, Ruddy Turnstones nest on small rocky islands and shores of the far northern hemisphere. The nest is in a shallow depression lined with leaves, usually in the shelter of a rock or bush :)

I WAS CUSSING in the mildest possible way Gledwood ;)

Albrecht von Krappa, DON'T call me a Kuerbis pumpkin.

SCAT CAT Mademoiselle Princesse!! Leave Jack alone or he'll bite your face off. We had a bird sitter visit him daily. He was so excited to see us return, he almost had a heart attack from happiness ... I wonder why ... hey is that SUGAR - his beak needs a good clean!
