You have to imagine you're NOT wearing sunnies and the photographs are a LOT brighter! Heehee

I'm not wearing sunnies, so no imagination required! One good tern deserves another! Where's the other?

I cheated Red Mojo, those are two terns in the photographs *sigh*. The original images are VERY bright and I usually only see a flash of white movement when photographing which isn't easy with wearing sunnies either :)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY RED MOJO!!!!!! On your side of the world because it's belated on this side :)

What a gorgeous-looking day! The tern certainly seems to be enjoying it, too!

its a beautiful spot!

That day is what we call a "stinker", Melissa! Which doesn't mean it smelt apart from being very hot. Unfortunately it was high tide and would have been far too hot if I waited to photograph at low tide which looks very different on that rock platform :)

Beautiful with sunnies on Simon! HAHA!!

Is that turn wearing a black cap? Well I guess it's following the slip, slop, slap philosophy.

According to my globe, the backyard gate should be in Chile.

That Tern is indeed wearing a skull cap G3TFilms! Our Lifesavers stole all those ideas from Terns. You should see them slipping and slopping all over the rocks and *SLAP!* face down into a rock pool! The Lifesavers that is ... they suck ;)

I'd believe you Captain Modroom9 because you're a Captain - but what about New Zealand ... it's in the way!

New Zealand is in the way of southern Chile, but not the rest of it because it's very wide. It depends which direction we're looking. The shed might be on a South Pacific island, according to my globe there's one called Made In Germany.

In the first photograph I was looking at Japan, but you're right, if caught one of those waves could sweep over the top of New Zealand and arrive at the back gate in Southern Chile if looking in same direction as the other photographs. Unless marooned in a shed, there are lots of islands too small to see on my globe. Mostly if I forgot to wear my sunnies!

I expect the bird knows more than us and our globes ever will.

Ah yes! The bird's eye view, Captain Modroom9 :) However, I was flapping my wings in order to see Japan beyond Papua New Guinea and the Phillipines ... but little islands don't count... like England! Heehheee

Oh, h8ing on the life savers huh? I didn't realise you were a Muslim youth from Cronulla?! Just look out for the stupid flag draped Aussie youths down that way. They do a whole different type of slip, slop, slapping!

Indeed the bird does know more, he downloaded Google Earth last week.

These photographs make me feel as though I am actually there with you and all I need to do is to reach out and I will be able to actually touch the land and sea!

Marvellous!

He looks very pleased with himself :-D

HAHHAHAA Aussie beach culcha sure has changed G3T Films! Don't you DARE mention that place again or there could be bloodshed between Sea Eagles and Sharks! Funny that, when we generally have more white pointers up North because NO bra, boys ;) We chose our next holiday house via Google Earth and your taste for birds! PS: You were meant to say h10ang and not 8, I'm sure :O

Hello Miladysa :) Please don't fall into the water, the seas are rough today!

h-ten-ang makes no sense. H -eight-ing makes much more sense... unless of course you meant to say hang 10... in which case, you're very insensitive. Everyone knows I lost those 3 toes in that surfing incident with the bra boys. So in future, please say hang 7 ;)

In reality I think my younger bro used to be a bra boy. At least that was the impression I got.

G3T Films, I see you've learnt your lesson about choosing to learn to surf at the Bronx by the Sea and have a 'different' sense now! Most likely from head-butting.

In reality, it's a shame your younger brother is no longer with you to see that younger brothers often grow out of that sort of thing (hormone replacement helps growth). Or is he still hanging around like he used to? Heehee I never say, "I'm sorry" ;)

One of my dreams is to see a white pointer in real life. They do cage dives off the Farallons in California and the water is quite cold but the sharks are quite big. I should say, one of my dreams is to see one in a controlled situation. Tomorrow another of your species arrives at my house-a green tree python.

I spotted the bird before I read your text. Did I win anything? Hehe!

HAHHAAA, if you want to see a White Pointer in a controlled situation, stand in front of a mirror and loosen your bra Debra Kay :O or visit an oceanarium ;) How did a green tree python climb all the way to Oklahoma!?! They don't fly either ...

You won the excitement of having thought you might have won something Ces :)

Tell Mr Max Walltern "nice try with the gullcream but there's no disguising that hair piece" Tsup*!*

Tsup*!* Gasp *!* You're right, Bimbimbie! Great spotting, I thought it was Percival on Lifesaving duty until now ... ;)

Bimbimbie said...

Tsup*!* Tsup *!*... hmmm I can see why you thought it twas Percival, look at those legs. Old Max is trying to blend them into the surrounds to make them look less skinnier *!*

Anonymous said...

Tsup*!* Tsup *!* Bimbimbie! Old Max need not be embarrassed because skinny legs make better dancers! It was his dancing that made me notice him in the first place ;)

I like a bit of a rough sea - as long as I'm only looking ;-D

No reaching out and touching then Miladysa, heehee :)

A quick hi. Enjoyed the bird bath video. The terns should be back in Anchorage when we get home early May.

Hi Steve and thanks! You must be missing your terns being inland right now! These crested ones should stay here (although only two this day on this reef) but the The Arctic Terns go to Alaska all the way from Antarctica :)
