There are a couple of families who frequent the backyard; a reason for this weekend to be the last of baby Red Wattlebird updates. Not able to tell the families apart well enough to know whose baby belongs to whom. They will all join us with Jack for the remains of the Spring Parade!

Sunday already! Good morning :)
Lovely pics. As always.
Wonderful portraits Anon, what a sweet little baby Red! And the tree is gorgeous too, I love your backyard :)
Thanks ElizT :) What's the temperature like in New Zealand these days? Guess it depends whether you are in the hills ... it's going to be a stinker here today in Sydney!
Thanks Lavender, the backyard does look better in all these close up photographs, and includes neighbours' trees if the lens reaches them :)
Nothing wrong with a bit of 'borrowed landscape' tehehe SWELTERING over here (((pant pant))) Wouldnt some rain be sweet?! Wishing you a cool evening...:)
I expected it to be as hot as it must be where you are Lavender, but now enjoying the fresh coastal afternoon seabreezes!
Great Wattleshots!
I wonder if I buy a camera like yours, my pictures will look anywhere near as good as yours! ;)
Thanks Red Mojo! It's true if I had a better camera I could get better shots ;) Happy with my Canon S3IS though ... :)
They are all grown up.
Not quite Ces, they still behave and sound like babies, but too many about to keep track of :)
My! They grow fast! :)
They grow that fast even if they don't manage to steal my lunch MerlinPrincesse!
