New Noise

King Jack Oh look! It's a brand new very noisy, Noisy Miner baby! Cookie would like THAT for lunch ... Jack

This one now likes to let me know the sun is about to rise from the front yard! However, at lunchtime his family competes with the Wattlebirds for 'best vision of what Anon is eating’, down the back.

Tehehe, Sounds like youre in danger of loosing your lunch! Better make some extras :)
Doesnt that beak look sharp - and its awfully cute with that short tail and remnants of fluffy down....love the shot of the wing exercise...too cute!

That little one hadn't left the tree yet Lavender, but by the end of the day had ventured to the outskirts! It belongs to a rather large family :)

I would be popular with your birds because I'm always out to lunch.

They have pointier mouths than us too.

The birds would probably think you ARE lunch, because you look a lot like a scrunched paperbag! Their mouths are very much pointier than yours Mr Totties! Where IS your mouth!?!

Maybe you could send that bird my way. The alarm clock hasn't been very effective lately.

There's something even noiser springing soon Red Mojo! It's a bird that sends one Cuckoo!! Although, these NEVER leave ...

Fuzzy little guy! :)

I thought I posted yesterday, but must have forgotten to do the word verification ... judging by all the head-shaking, that must have been some spicy and tasty barbecue for Cookie! :) My dog stole a steak off the grill once -- he barely chewed it and moaned all day long. I would love to see Cookie stealing food right out of someone's hand!

I love discovering babies Melissa, and they are all fluffy and noisy :) Cookie would have shaken his head and bashed his beak if it was a lizard! Kookaburras do that. If it was something spicy, I would have chased him away. It can be worrying when birds steal your food because it isn't healthy for them! They like easily accessible and junk food like (most) people on the beaches :)
