Excuse fuzzy photos but that dove was a fair way away - only viewed from backyard :) This post is to help TsDuff cool off at Terry’s Timeout after fire scares regarding her family home ...
Does look like the dove is enjoying a cool breeze...
What a gorgeous aerial! Wow!
Hahahahaha! Feelin' cheeky this morn :)
HAHHAHAAAA, that aerial blocks my view of the clouds! The Doves mostly sit on the aerials, although Cookie likes the one on the other side of the house. Thanks Lavender :)
Trying to sort something out about my lack of internet connection ... apart from receiving an email 'tantrum' (Wicked Witch from the West), I do not like having reins on my visiting other blogs! Might see you all at yours, sooner than the 28th! If sorted ...
I hope the dove can change channels in it's head otherwise it'll be most confused won't it.
You sound like you are speaking from experience Modroom :)
Yes I am.
The dove might be watching Kath & Kim.. I wonder what injury Sharon's sustained this week.
HAHA!!!! Kath and Kim! You have to wait until Season Four reaches the UK to find out about Sharon's terrible injuries Modroom! Or buy the DVD heehee. They are repeating themselves in Australia and bet the dove knows that episode it's listening to word for word!
ooo ooo kath and kim ooo ooo
We don't have this show here.... :) Somebody told me once that dove are the most stupid birds in the World...Dodo being extincted.... I don't think it's true. They know how to NOT pay for teevee. Thas is wise... Why is Mushroom grenn? Jealousy? :)
Wish all I had was doves on me arial! Bloody cockatoos have knackered SBS and now my Iron Chef is all fuzzy.
You need a "fice pearl" Captain Gorilla!
Your being stew-pid MerlinPrincesse! HAHHAAA Ask Wizard Why that question about Modroom's greeness ...
Not a fuzzy Iron Chef, Baino! While the chefs cook, pretend you're drinking saki and you won't know the difference ;) Hope you don't have wooden window frames, or did before the Cockatoos ate them!
Wow, thanks for that stunning photo of your antenna. It's too bad you get that stupid bird off of it for the picture!
It's not even MY aerial Red Mojo! It belongs to the rich people who knocked down our old house, flattened our vegetable garden, ripped out the trees, then frightened the birds away. Except stupid DOVES and PIGEONS!
This post isn't really helping me to cool off ...
Whew, that feels much cooler -- a little breeze at the nape, too -- cool dove.
I just saw this funny clip from the Ellen show ... she was talking about fleeing from a fire ... she said she grabbed the pets and her mom grabbed the photo albums! Ha haa! It must kick into gear as soon as we have kids ... must. save. the. photos.
I AM NOT STEw-PID! Am I? Indeed I DO pay for teevee...mmmmm.... And I almost never take a look at it. I have my DVD collection!!! :) Sometimes, I watch the reruns of Dr Who and Stargate.... RICHARD DEAN ANDERSON!!!! WAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!
You know I have personally met some very intelligent doves one Summer.... They are cute, very patient and intelligent...for birds! *but not as Jack* :)
You pics are wonderful BTW.... :)
I will be updating my blogger choices for your oh-so-precious meme, so watch THIS space.
Huh. You don't hardly even see roof-mounted TV antennas any more. Cool.
That's a cool sea breeze Melissa :) These days it would be wise to store photographs online! However, I hardly ever print them out anymore which is a shame ...
We make stews out of everything here MerlinPrincesse };-} Thanks!
Oh look ... you've gone all clinical Craig D! Huh. You haven't been watching your Australian Documentaries HAVE YOU!
Hey that looks just like the Morning Doves we have here in California!
How were you able to get such a great shot from such a great distance?
If the Californian Morning Doves have spots behind their neck, they are probably the same as Spotted Turtle Doves, Sharon! HA anything fuzzy (like these) have been shot from too far away :)
I can have my day's worth of entertainment by coming here. Look at interesting and beautiful bird photos and read follow the comments. Nonthing like Anon's place. or maybe I need to get out more often.
Heehee, there are a few links in the comments of this post Ces! You are sounding more like yourself again ...
:)
