Looking back to the side of the river just walked, there was something bobbing and balancing on a single reed over the water. It's from this distance the following Welcome Swallows were photographed!

Welcome Swallows catch insects in flight using acrobatic flying skills. This one is showing the colour of his back in reflection. Their nests are made of mud and grass.

Posting early because the storm is here and isn't easy to Swallow NOR Welcome!
Be careful and be safe from the storm. Please do not balance over a single reed again. :-)

HEY, I REJECT this week's Hellkitten who suggested this week's Illustration Friday word but agree with her 'rejection'!
They should stuff the birds up a pipe and blow them out the other end, that would look good.
Boiledegggads! Are you suggesting what I read you are suggesting?
I know one thing I will always reject, for sure. It stinks.
It's an ancient aboriginal custom.
Eggdung stinks because he is rotten.
Lovely birds.
You know what would look good? If EggO got a hair cut...
Hey, 1980 called, they want their Mohawk back! Blah to you Egg!!
I regenerate every other Tuesday and don't smoke exploding cigars!
Blowing a stuffed BoiledEggInADeckchair out of a pipe is a very good idea!
He does smell rotten now Ces :)
Perriette took the words out of my mouth (not the other way around and without the 'lovely' vomit word heeheee)
BLAH to the Aboriginal Egg, Joy Eliz and MerlinPrincesse! On a Wednesday.
I prefer Fridays.
Wednesdays AND Fridays Perriette!
