Way in the Distance

The grasslands are quite extensive. This Little Pied Cormorant could only be seen through a zoom lense. He's perched as high as possible to reach the first spot of sun to warm his back.

A very well captured composition and feeling. The early sunlight is glimpsed in interesting ways on the edges of the Cormorant and on the vegetation.

Hah, thanks Modroom :)

anonymous, the straight lines of that first shot is really excellent. you are a fine photographer. i wonder if the birds talk about you among themselves?

It's the birds' chattering that leads me to them KJ :) I LOVE THOSE MOVIES !!!!

Hope everyone doesn't mind my not visiting their blogs while Monsta the computer is being sorted ... all should be well by the end of the week when I will rampage! *cross ears*

The bird looks like he is part of the pole.

Yes I do mind you not visiting, but understand. Grrrr.....computers can be so evil. "crossing eyes, toes, fingers, ears, and nose"

Forgot to say that the second pic is MAGNIFISCENT!!!! I can feel the heat on his back! And the bird's expression tells it all! :) YUP.

No you aren't MerlinPrincesse - unless invisible! Thank you for the compliment, the camera was actually pointed towards the sun and had to shield it from exploding. The Pied Cormorant will be closer to the lense next time, so you can see he isn't pleased with the cold weather more clearly - without slodges.

OH ... just worked out you are commenting about your alphabetical order MerlinPrincesse! Modroom's first two blogs begin with ((((((( which is before 'A' or 'M'. Only up to 'C' blogs now, and Perriette's blog starts with 'D'! You need to practise English!

OH! You go by title and not by name... *snif* *sob* :((((( *snif*... Does it work? :))))

Anonymous said...

Yes. Does what work MerlinPrincesse? Obviously snot :)

merlinprincesse said...

SNOT?

Anonymous said...

Yes, STOP SNIFFING AND SOBBING all over the place! Here's a tissue :)

Ces Adorio said...

Is Merline Princess crying because you visited the others before you visited her?

Hey! I did not know you used birds for street lamps!

Anonymous said...

Yes MerlinPrincesse is Ces! Perriette isn't even talking to me because others were first, so a bit of snot doesn't bother me so much.

Heehee, there is a bird on almost every post around here :)

merlinprincess: i understand....

OH! KJ had to wait until I was up to 'O' for my visit - even longer than MerlinPrincesse! :)

Ces Adorio said...

Haha! I am "C" before Merlin Princesse and Pierrette and Joy, and KJ and Modroom and Egg if he were fried and not boiled. Singing: I am "C".

Anonymous said...

Not trying to lower the volume of your singing Ces (hhehhee), but Modroom has two sites beginning with'(((' which take precedence to 'A', 'B' or 'C'! The Egg however, begins with 'OOO' :)

Ces Adorio said...

I don't care, I am still singing - out of tune :-)
