Wow! he is already beautiful? What happened to the ugly drab, colorless dawn feathers that most baby birds have (like in Merlin Princesse's red ibis photo). Are these birds perfect from the start? Anony we have storms and flooding here now.

He's not THAT brand new Ces, just new enough to go out into the big world for the first time :) But they are colourful when a New New Too! Looks like our areas are destined to flood from now on due to climate change Ces! I don't like having a cold Winter, our homes aren't equipped for it! It's Summer at your house - that's when we are supposed to have storms but it's hot too, so quickly evaporates. Hope you are safe Ces!

The porridge has lots of vitamins and minerals to help him grow to be a big bird, Modroom. Not the Big Bird on Sesame Street.

Ces, Bananas make Rainbow Lorikeets squirt ... they are very bad for them and my stairway! Jack likes oats, but only out of my bowl when I'm eating muesli. The Lorikeets like different foods to Jack, except they all like the special BIRD porridge!
Oh I love muesli. Jack eats from your bowl? It's a good thing you are not a cat! Hahahah!
I love muesli too Ces! Macadamia nut especially :) I give Jack muesli from my bowl ... he doesn’t help himself - although would try if out of indoor cage. We don't eat during his 'free' time. He eats dinner at the same time but next to us in his cage. He likes it when we give him things from our plates ... like peas :)
