Looks to me like that one on the left has topped the water level again but he tells them in the second shot to be shocked in the third! His wife has to convince the others the water is still fine ... does she succeed?
Here we call them fiddleheads and I have given you a link to some New England recipes. The birds are all getting along, perhaps scheduling a game of bridge for later.
Oh haha Simon, I was meaning the curly bits of each frond end, you know how the branches unfurl each leaf individually? I have eaten them raw when thirsty and they just taste like grass. Don't ask about knowing what grass tastes like!
Fiddlesticks Red Mojo! HAHA Thanks for the recipes :) Hmmm, if they are thinking of building a bridge next, we may NEVER see them enter the water ;)
Which recipe did you cook Simon? Was it worth killing a baby frond for dinner? I had to show my guinea pigs at a tea party that grass tea was really delicious ... when little!
They could be devising WORLD DOMINATION Miladysa!
"is your lens the colour of water Simon?" ....
"ElizT, I'll have you know you are actually Australian, until you stuff up, at which point you again become a Kiwi!" ...
They do what human do when one is not looking. Gossiping about the one that is not looking... :)))) It's OBVIOUS!!!! Hheheheheheh! *gossipgossipgossip*
They're so vain, I think they're checking out their reflections and taking notes. I can hear them jibbering a way "I'm the fairest of them all", "no I'm the fairest of them all"
