The Lorikeets are taking l o n g e r than the others to swim!
How sweet!
I wish I had these delightful birds visiting my garden.
LOVE the captions :]
They can be sweet when not screaming Miladysa :) Thanks!
So pretty!
That, they are ElizT! I have to keep in mind others don't see them roughly 12 hours a day :)
There's a whole lotta splashin' goin' on and lorikeet silliness! :) These shots made me smile and giggle. Oh, to hear the chatter (bwark) and water works.
Good to see you smiling and giggling Melissa! I often see the lorikeets like children with their antics :)
What a grand sight to behold. I usually get Morning Doves, Starlings, Pidgeons and once in a while a pair of Wood Peckers.
AHHH, now Woodpeckers are exotic to me Sharon!
they are just SO colourful they remind me of a bag of jelly bean!
..s (oops!)
Ooops, did you just eat a bag of jelly beans Simon because you just fell in! Hhehheee
Yum yum yum, even though I won't eat them, they still look very delicious.
Yes, these ones are pure eye-candy.
I am SO impressed with these photos I have made the Lorikeet "bird of the week" ( formerly "my favorite bird")
And because Jack is MR personality!
HAHAHHAAA very funny Ces!
I'm sure the Lorikeets are privileged to be the Bird of the Week Simon :) Jack is KING!
i'm with myladysa, i wish for one moment i could see these lorikeets in my backyard. you are so lucky. i would sit and watch them for hours while i pondered the challenges of the world and planned my dinner menu.
how is jack, anon? and cookie?
:)
Jack is randy due to the rain but confused about the funny feeling :) Cookie has been heard to laugh just before it rains which means a good week ago and sure we'll be hearing him by Wednesday when the rain returns. I am recovering from wet weather bug and hope it's dry next weekend so can escape like everyone else seemed to today in the sunshine! Even missed the Chinese New Year this year which was a first.
Thanks for asking KJ :)
oh! missed you missed the new year...... :o)
well, its the year of the rat a too eee.... (smile)
I guess only one Lorikeet hadn't eaten in the last hour. Beautiful shots of beautiful birdies.
HELP HELP HELP!!! That poor bird is drowning!!!! Is he? NO? Oups...
You know why those birds are so magnificents? That's because some of their feathers are blue...Hhehhee... Blue... Hhehehe... You understand? HEY GANG!!! YOU UNDERSTAND??? *hop*
It's supposed to be an auspicious year even with Rats all over the place, Husband of Rose!
HAHHAAA, they are well behaved to not swim until digested their food Red Mojo :)
I understand how much you love your blue fluffiness Lapin Poulin, and why you think the Lorikeets are magnificent!
Blue fluffiness... That's a nice way to describe MOI... :) Thanks! :)
That particular description isn't really that easy to miss. In fact, can't think of another apart from throwing in a dash of pink and yellow ...
OH you must be laughing a lot to be stamping about Onedia ;) Thanks!
Poetic Anon! :)
Thanks Pirate Lapin!
